i suggest those who plan to buy this - dont!
mine has been rrepaired 4 times! nothing happened,, same problem,, sony should stop selling this model. its useless and waste of money.. worst phone ever.

For NO reason, messages and phonebook won't open. It just keeps telling you to "please wait" i tried restarting it again and again multiple times, taking out the battery and putting it back on............, doesn't do any good. you just have to wait till it wants to open your messages and phone book. But it never happened... R any SONY technical Guys reading these blogs .. IF yes, take back these phones its not worth it. Its damaging ur market share

Not at all happy with the phone. No Applications are open but it just hangs. Unable to Open Contacts and Messages. This is happening once in 3days. its somthinge like I get to read my msg and access contacts once in a week. Im so frustrated.. Don't go for it. waste of money.. Feel like throwing it

Anonymous, 27 Oct 2011I bought this phone 5 days back, now I am feeling like thro... morewhy you lie... you don't even know to use it lol. i have instaled a lot of good aplications and games on mine how can you say you can't install any aplication, youtube is working with bolt broswer ,the sound is very good don't exceed.
camera is also good even it doesnt have aditional features like zoom flash etc.
its a basic camera with no other setting, only take pic option but the quality is great for a 3mp camera.
and yes the only truth you sayd is that you can not transfer videos via bluetooth(but you can download from wap, by wi-fi or from pc ).
I HAVE ALSO SEEN ABERRATIONS HERE LIKE THE PHONE DOESNT HAVE VOLUME BUTTONS OR THE CALL QUALITY IS CRAP AND MANY OTHERS THAT FRIGHTENED ME UP (BECAUSE I ALREADY ORDERED IT AND WAITED TO BE DELIVERED)
ITS NOT TRUE.
i will list the real minuses of this phone
-no multitasking
-no option for video sending by bluetooth
-no 3g (for me 3g lack is not an issue coz i never used it).
-no file manager, but you can manage file with blue ftp a great system java aplication.
otherwiswe it is a good phone for its price i bought mine for 110 euro.
its not a smartphone its not for you if you look for a smarphone, it doesnt have android(but interface look like android) but i can tell its enough entertaining.
also some people you will discover in time, like zoom in pic viewer, customizing icons positions copy and paste...
also it suports accelerometer games based on accelerometer sensor.

boss, 04 Oct 2011how is this cell pls reply guysI bought this phone 5 days back, now I am feeling like throwing it in public toilet, the very very worst mobile I had used in my life, No good features, very worst quality, it doest support any applications and softwares, You tube is not working, very very poor sound quality, if u want to hear music u have to insert the whole phone inside ur ear otherwise u wont hear the sound, even through ear phone the sound is very bad, Internal settings for messages, camera, display are worst, you cannot transfer videos from this mobile to other mobiles, sony ericson should have fixed the price as R.s 1500, its unworthy to spend R,s 7500 for this useless phone. Guys don’t ever think to buy this phone, If u already bought this phone better take a hammer or brick and break it. Sony Ericson sucks sucks sucks………….

i have the phone, and it is not so buggy as i was reading on here.
the only problem i saw was when i was testing aplications it was restarting on some app when i was geting out of an aplication(not all aplications depend, but those are rarely, usualy it doesnt, thts because of small memory and because of the bad software optimisation hope it will disapear at all after updating a new version in the soon future), but the aplications i have in my phone dont do tht.
i cant tell too much about hanging because it didnt(just when i tested some aplications, but i found a solution to dont take cover off and batery, i press camera button and camera in tht moment is the only operative function, when i get into camera i press shutdown button and i just close it and turn it on again, but tht was only at testing aplications, so same as restarting bug its just for a very few aplications).
i have installed opera mini and a lot of other aplications and games(also few accelerometer games based on accelerometer sensor), if u need help tell me, also u can play youtube with an aplication(not best quality but it is posible, not full screen and not too loud) the phone has also zoom for pix copy and paste function, customizing menu icons(placing icons where you want included also the 4 corners icons). and for file manager again i have the solution using an aplication;) (a very good and stable one).
to be honest for me is more than enough, i dont use 3g because in my area the 3g signal is very poor but i use edge and it works very nice.
the call quality is very good, volume is also good, everything is fine with this phone for me.
battery is ok.
at first i was scared it will be a disaster i even wanted to cancel the delivery, but its not and it is almost 2 weeks since i nought it.
if i will face problems in the future i will factory reset(the software is being wrote again with all registry and evrything like in the beginig and i have all aplications saved on my pc, also i can store them in phone, in memory card for example so i can reinstal them again).
also i hope in the near future a new version of software to be released and then i will upgrade it.
but untill now its ok for me
