Blame STE PNX4910 cpu that makes the phone doesn't have any features you're asking for:
- it doesn't support 3G/hspa network, max class 10 edge/gprs only
- no 16M color support
- supports camera up to 3 Mpix -without auto focus- only
- video support up to 30 fps QVGA decode only, no DivX
Maybe SE is supposed to be using a snapdragon based processor even if they want to release a budget phone like this - to compete with corby??! (Do corbys provide 3G?)

Anonymous, 26 Jun 2011this phones target market is for the youth who are addicted... moreI guess you're right. Nice phone, with or without VGA recording. You can't have everything in one phone, budget phone at that (if that's what it's gonna be), big screen, nice UI, hopefully comfortable keypad and WiFi seems to be more bang for a buck than many other handsets offer.

this phones target market is for the youth who are addicted to text and their facebook accts. thats why it has a slide out keyboard and wifi but no other bells and whistles.

Hehe, spoke too soon, I just realised that the QVGA could be 50 frame per second for all we know, so 20fps/VGA is quite possible, isn't it?

I think I saw the phone in a German internetshop for preorder and price was 119 euros, the same as Mix Walkman's price. Well, WiFi and big screen and qwerty-keypad aren't bad features at all, but somehow, at this price (if this is really gonna be the price), would'nt it be nice to have a bit better perfomance in video recording? Something like 20fps/VGA? Introducing video in Youtube is fascinating though, it totally won me over, the handset looks really-really nice:)

well,i think this phone target was developing country such as indonesia which still dont have a good 3G signal. for some people wifi is more important than 3G, and obviously this phone will be cheaper if using a 2G rather than 3G
anyway, this is a good phone and i like it :D

Anonymous, 13 Jun 2011Samsung and lg have successfully brainwashed their customer... moreIt's not that, but that shape is the most appreciated for a smartphone, simple as that. That's why they (Samsung, LG, HTC) are in top5 market share, among other things. See also Motorola. When people like a certain design, why try to come out with weird shapes? For instance, this SE txt pro has a good design. I'm sure that this shape, a little bigger than this one, will have more success than the previous Xperias or Vivaz.
