an excellent phone. paid about 10250 rs in india. can any one tellme how toincrease earpiece volume when receiving a call.evenin maximum volume is poor. also an software for pcsuit windows 98 se version.bye

Iain, the w900 has better functionaity than the v600 with expandable memory and stronger camera etc. The only thing the v600 has over it is 3g support

I have this phone in the box unopened. I havent oepened it yet because everyones said its rubbish. If I send it back i can get the Sony Ericsonn W900...is that phone better than the V600?

I´ve got this phone from Vodafone for free. It`s about 6 monts now. And I love the phone! the sony ericsson v600 is great! Sure it may be better phones but I``m really glad that I bought this phone.

just got mine from vodafone as a free loyalty upgrade after over 3 years with a nokia 3650.
was a little concerned about it being quiet after reading a lot of posts, but rather was surprised how loud it was with just the standard tones not even at full volume. nice size. will be interested to see how the joystick holds up over time. no real issues yet, except for the fact that i would really have liked a memory slot. the software and usb out leave any worthless software drivel nokia manages to produce for dead as far as syncing with my computer goes, but ericsson have historically produced good software packages

i think its cute!!!
its uber easy to use and the colours are great - so nice after having a dodgy nokia! never going back to nokia!
more memory and a card slot would be nice, but i just stream the content and then it doesn't take up space

Just got this one yesterday as a free upgrade from Vodaphone. They will be getting it back tomorrow. The worst phone I've ever had. All keys are way too small and fiddly, it's not intuitive with all its features. If this is all singing and dancing 3G, I'll stick with my Motorola 550.

I've had this phone for a few months now. It was a loyalty phone, free from Vodafone. So glad it was free, coz I want to throw it against a wall!
If you actually want a phone so that people can contact you while you're mobile, DON'T GET THIS PHONE! No matter what you do, you will not be able to hear it when it rings unless you happen to be holding it within 30cm of your ear in a silent room.
I'm looking for a new phone. Does anyone know anything that happens to be reliable anymore? I don't think any phones are anymore!

Umm its a good phone and everything but is it actually possible to expand the memory, because it is soo low. i can only put about 5 songs in the phone!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with everyone! It's a great phone! I has everything! That's a big PLUS!!!!! But, it has no memory card slot. Not that the 30 mB is a small memory (check other 3G phones with the similar price), but it would be even better if it had a slot!!!

its a nice phone but the memory is to small and no card slot. i think the people from s.e. are crazy to make a phone that does a lot and don't have enough memory to suport all the action. the size and look are not so nice but the price is low.

good phone. can someone please tell me how to transfer mp3 to phone as even when i connected the USB to phone and PC it didn't work/recognise that there was a USB connected.

Absolutely brilliant, it's got everything you could imagine, ditched my webcam, cos i take pics on my phone and upload straight to pc now. Sounds great, some awesome download sites for themes, wallpapers etc.. best phone ever. buy it!! 10/10 i give it personally. =)
