hi to anyone who is still reading opinions and hope this gets your attention
after reading everyone's comment from the beginning
I found out that there's many clashes between opinions
Some said that phone freezes, poor camera quality (though it's 8mp), bad audio quality, bad touch screen
and bugs and so on
but some totally oppose this saying that the phone works fine , having the opposite of everything others considered as problems
this causes real confusion to those who are searching for specific details on this phone . Maybe someone out there really wants to hear opinions from experienced and knowledgeable users out there before buying but all these confusion really causes a lot of trouble .
I am actually one of those confused one.
so this time I would like to ask something different. I want to know the difference between the Operating Systems (O.S)
reading from some opinions saying that symbian is a major drawback for this phone and it's not meant for touchscreen phones
can I actually know the reason why it is stated as so ?
I mean what is the difference between Android O.S and Symbian O.S ? what is the effect of the O.S in the phones ? Does different O.S affect the laggness of the phone ?
I hope anyone out there who is still reading or any kind one out there have a detailed explanation because I really want to know more about phones , not just Vivaz only.
OR maybe you don't have the time to answer my question, giving me the links where I can learn more about is already good enough.

that is something that symbian has to work more about...
i believe that's a common symbian thing.
(also symbian do not support smileys dear guys)
just not sure if there are 3rd party applications something like that.

thanks roar, your post have really been very helpful.. im planning on getting a good touchscreen phone and eying vivaz but im afraid its resistive touchscreen may be a bit of a let down.. can you convince me some more? ;-)

i get a bit confuse of this signing thing, would you explain about it deeper please. if you don't mind..
do i have to sign the applications every time i try to install them?
also please correct me, when you say sign, the one that i have to sign is the application itself? or my phone to the application?

you must install the pc suite first. it's an application that you may use for you to be able to sync your mobile with your pc..
you may get it from SE site. just hit the
support -(choose phone) - software downloads - download pc suite

x6 has 434 Mhz processor which is already above the natural 300(if im not mistaken) where as vivaz runs 720!
....

cuz every time i connect my Vivaz to the computer i get a message says that my phone is"unknown driver" >
do i need a card reader each time i want 2 download an application?? (sorry about my bad English:)

It actually depends on your taste, if you want some superb music player go for x6. but if then want a great camera and video recorder vivaz should satisfy your need.
here are some comparisons that must help you to decide..
camera: vivaz camera is 8mp while x6 is 5mp only but it has carl zeiss optics(if you are aware of it)
music: vivaz music player is fine, you may always use another headset for better sound output.
x6 music can play up to 35 continuous hrs and of course better music output thru headset and speakers.
memory: there is an 8b memory card in vivaz and it can hold up to 32 gb memory card where as x6 has 8gb internal memory and has no memory card slot.
there you go...
almost all other features are the same, except that vivaz has quick office reader..

that's a common issue to the this phone, to most of the touch screen phone actually. so you do not have to worry as it is not relevant to your unit...

hey guys
I wanna know your opinions about the battery's holding of the vivaz , actually i think it's a little disappointing ,My vivaz can only hold a 20 hours of charge , and that within the standby mode.
So may i consider this a common problem with all the vivaz , or it's just a malfunctioning with my device ??
