JRF, 22 Jun 2010I would but the only true Android device is the Motorola Dr... morewell to be frank, if you're looking for a good facebook app then the (eugh) iphone is your phone. the android one is pretty nice. the windows mobile one isnt brilliant. the symbian one hangs quite a bit.
also symbian is horrible. dont buy into this OS. it's about to be replaced, besides, this is a horrible handset. you will thank me a million times if you buy a phone with a capacitive touch screen.
also being a htc hd2 owner with a 1ghz proccessor, the brute power of the thing means theres no laggyness, but i guess you wont be able to get hold of one where you are.
sony ericsson are a dying brand. look at this phone, look at how outdated the x10 is, the awful interface of the satio. dont do it

nick, 22 Jun 2010no, buy an windows mobile/android handset. they do push emailI would but the only true Android device is the Motorola Droid and it is way over priced in Mexico. WinMo lags way too much for my taste. I used to use Symbian and even if it is old, I liked it. What can you tell me about the FB and Twitter apps? If these offer push notifications then I just might buy it anyway since email is my 2nd priority. Thanks for your opinions.

got a new sony ericson vivas and it's a good phone but it keeps crashing, i have had to take it in 3 and it has been replaced 3 times and im wondering if anybody had a similair experience

Reviewer, 18 Jun 2010If you read some of the comments here you can see that they... moreHi! First of all, I just have to say, not everyone has the same user experience. I had a Nokia N85 and a lot of people loved it while I had the worst time of my life with it. So, don't expect every phone that is manufactured in masses to be perfect.
And now, as for my second comment. Since you seem to be able to give the answeres I need:
1- do the Twitter and Facebook apps update automatically and have push notifications? I have a BB and really love having everything push instantly.
2- does email work properly? is it pushed or pulled? I had a SE P1i with Symbian UIQ and it had push but didn't work. This has Symbian s60 but doesn't include Nokia Messaging which offers push email, so I'm worried the Vivaz won't give me a good email experience. Also, is email text only or HTML?
These are my main concerns, because my Blackberry has a great push service but my BIS has been really bad and I need a solid push of data. I hate going through service outages and this is RIM's servers being faulty at times, so I need something better. The Vivaz is nice in person, but I can't play with those features, so I need an honest opinion. Thanks!

guys, did anyone try to use a photo as an additonal detail on Vivaz contacts?
so when a friend of mine calls, i can easily determine who the hell he or she is? hehehe!
if someone knew how to do it, kindly post the procedure on this blog..

It is not a phone, it is like a computer. Twitter like to crash. If Google Latitude enabled together with Google Map for GPS positioning, battery will die after 4 hours. A good stuff for use in the car, but car charger is necessary.

My earlier P990i was much more better than VIVAZ
it had :
- drawing ability in few in addition to the notepad
- the numbers format in phonebook is arranged as it synchronyzed with Outlook
- The field characters aren't limited like VIVAZ
I know all that becuase S60v5 done by NOKIA !

Actually I think it's a little bit longer than it should be. See HTC for example, or a BlackBerry, that would be the perfect ratio lenght x width. X10 mini or X8 looks better.

kc, 21 Jun 2010has the vivaz have image stabilizer?as to the extent that i... moreOn any cameraphone, the image stabilizer is just a "feature". It doesn't work as good as on a real camera. For great still pics even in movement, you need a xenon flash, so, the winner would be the Satio. But, I think the Vivaz has a better design and feel to it. I am almost sure I'll be buying this phone in a month if I get the answers that I need.

its just super cool, its even better lookin than iphone but i dont know if it is better ;/ prob.
luuv it and you should get it! its maybe alittle expensive...well, that just make it better!
