to Tash, whether others experienced or not, but when I bought it did not happen, but my first time buying vivas, I filled out the battery for 6 hours, and did not happen like yours, my suggestion, if the money could be asked to come back and return your vivas to the store where you buy, and try to buy at other stores ... but most likely may not, perhaps you could bring your vivas to the store where you bought, and tried there, maybe they understand the problem of what happens

Asalaam-o-Alaikum Every1.
I hope dat u all r doing well.
I would like to know sumthing about Vivaz phone, I bought it a couple of days ago from Axiom Telecom- City Centre Dubai & im having a good time wid it so far. Its a wonderful phone. good sound quality, although volume is low but sound quality is good & camera is really really really good.
Now my question is dat the sound in the head set is not loud & from where i can c the battery status in Percentage (%)?
& if i want to update its firmware den from where i can get its firmware? bcoz in the support section of Sony Ericsson, they dont have firmware for Vivaz.

Hi guyz i bought a new Vivaz(blue color) on friday.. the night i came, i charged it for abt 4 hours and switched it on with my sim inserted.. It started well but i was not able to navigate into the menu screen.. the screen frequently blinks.. sometimes the menu screen gets opened but im not able to navigate into the menu options.. the camera doesnt get on.. so i decided that there is something wrong in it.. and at once my dad went to the store(Carefour Dubai) and returned it.. they checked it and replaced it with a new one(Black color this time) now again after coming home i charged it and experienced the same problem.. My dad is taking it back 2 the store tonight.. Im totally upset.. Is this a common problem with this model or is it Im the only one facing it??? I already have a sonyericsson mobile(W580i) rite nw, from the past 2 years i dint have any issues.. im really really upset.. Do plz advise...

i buy my vivaz at 23 April...from my observation from this phone is......awesome..thats all..it response very faster to compare with n97..very great..

I've been wearing more or less a month ... vivas awesome camera, so does the video .. I would ask if there is among you who already bought vivas experiencing lag? because, I think I experienced it. when yesterday will use the camera, the camera can not directly be used .. though previously not so .... so well with his message, when the state is locked, and I open the lock, and opened his message, but does not directly appear, even though previously not so, well before current-alone .. for lag issues, whether vivas have issued a new firmware to solve it?
My friend will buy the HTC HD2, with WinMo OS, when I saw a video on the display menus, etc., I was quite impressed, whether owned vivas symbian OS it looks like it could be changed? if can where can I download the firmware to change the display so as not to lose with HTC's HD2

How is the Resistive touchscreen quality of Vivaz? Does it work with slight touch? I have to type plenty of SMS messages each day, and was wondering if any Capacitive touchscreen phone would be better? If so, pl do recommend any suitable phone.
