I experienced a surprising battery drain down last night. I went to bed and it was on approx 66% capacity. I went to work only to discover that it was dead. It lost two thirds of its power in 8 hours or so standby. I didnt leave any apps running either so am a bit confused.Anyone else experienced something like this?

Vivaz,omnia2,satio,n97 mini or n97?I work in the industry, both sonyerricsons are on top with the satio better for pictures and the vivaz better in speed and functionality (its pictures are still fantastic). The omnia is next. The N97's are rubbish. If you don't get a sony ericsson, then wait and get the nokia n8, it will be pretty good. However hsould note that the Satio already has all the features that the N8 bosts. Hope that was helpful.

at first i got interest because of 8.1 mp camera. i have LG renoir, same pixel. but my LG speakerphone was not working anymore so i planning to buy VIVAZ. But is it possible to support or convert avi format video from VIVAZ?

Has anyone had a problem with this phone not sending messages? everything works on the phone except when I go to send a text, it is just saving them in my outbox and saying Resend in 3 minutes (which it never does and they're permanently stuck there)
If anyone has this problem, then how do you fix it?

As i have some experience with music phones and headsets, I'd say, that most important is the headset, and then the compression of the mp3 file (or whaever format you're using), and then comes the equalizer .

I think I will go for it, even though I'm still satisfied with my W995. Just like to have a new phone once in a while ;). I will just wait a few weeks for the pro version, hope the physical qwerty provides better text input. If not, I might go for the normal vivaz.

The UI is not up to the iPhone level. It is somehow confusing, as I can see menus from Nokia phones (settings, contacts etc), and menus W995 (all Media) which is great. In some menus its very responsive (mdeia), almost as iphone, and other XM5800 like menus requires double tap. I think i will get used to it with time.
The music quality is the same, and even a bit louder.
What you should know however, is that I use my own Senheizer CX300 II earbuds, which are of the same quality as on the W995. |The headphones provided with the Vivaz are crap. Walkman phones have this unrecognized advantage, to come with their own hi- fi earphones, that normally cost 20 pounds and more.
External music buttons are also missing, however i donot consider this a big disadvantage, 2 or 3 clicks max, and you can skip forward without problem. Whats even better, is that you can slide up to the point where you want on the track, this is very usefull for me as i am listening 2 hour long compilations and I often want to skip half an hour or so.
The Music player is basically the same as W995 and works beautifully on the Vivaz.
SMS typing so far, is pain in the ass. It takes me much longer to type a message, and I often make mistakes. I believe that it will take me some time to get used to it. I am not big texter though, so that does not bother me.
Overall I am satisfied with the phone.

the mobile is considered as the king it has all the softwares and 3rd party application supportion camera is ossum yhere is no word to compare with any handsets vivaz rocks sony is ossum

i need to know how is the touch screen ui , im really considering getting it , but my experinces with touch screens is not good (i had an imate before & i've tryed my nephew's -to die for- like people say the xpress music 5800 & it sucks with capitol letters , untill i used the iphone) so from scale 1 to 10 what do you give the vivaz screen (1 is 5800 & 10 is iphone) ?

does the music player in vivaz supports album arts added to the music by using itunes , im not looking for music phone (i allready got an ipod touch for that) , but i needed to ask since my nokia e75 doesnt support this , but my 2 years old w910 does & its kinda sucks

Barring the camera & processor, everything is same as Nokia 5800 xpressmusic. even the OS is same. a faster processor & hi-def video recording does warrant some premium, but a resistive TS at this price is simply unacceptable. people willing to buy this phone should also have a look at 5800 which costs almost Rs. 10,000 less

pls do not buy u will waste ur money,worst thing in this mobile is EARPIECE volume is too too low, u cant hear at all.
OTHER THINGS ARE GOOD NO PROBLEM AT ALL
