If SE fans are bragging about Viva i should remind them that Samsung Omnia HD will be a year old in short time,,,,,, so now Samsung will get their best smartphone with better specs maybe with optical zoom then SE will produce similar phone a year later with trimmed spec then all SE fanboys will be like WOW!!!!!!!! So stop making so much fuzz and wake up,,, I personally own Nokia,samsung,se phones

Anonymous, 11 Feb 2010Haha! I'm sure you own an omnia thats getting kick on the ... moreactually no. I only use Blackberrys, using a Storm 2 and a Bold 9700 atm. Oh btw I sell phones for a living and as everyone that does this knows SE are dying. Crap phones crap build quality. Hence why there have been rumors of sony and ericsson pulling out of the company. The X10 is there last hope and I do honestly hope it pulls it off. This handset will be as crap as the Satio.

If only someone would bring out a Flagship phone to mstch the great speaker dual stero capabilities of the Sony Ericsson P1i
Still use it without headphones even tho I have a Xperia (tinny mon speaker but great with head phones)
Every Flagship reviewed has Something missing sigh.

Fail. Bet it will suck just as bad as all other SE's in recent times. Symbian is awful as a touchscreen OS not to mention the suspected build quality. What a poor attempt.

Oh!... I 4got 2 mention Im satisfied with the vivaz review some of the disadvantages can b over looked, seriously this thing is really compact anymore additions they probably would hav 2 compromise the sweet small size.This will b my step up from the k850i I sold last year.

For music lovers,sorry this is not a music phone they concentrated more on camera n video recording,I myself would hav loved equalizer n bass I dont know when they'll combine the cyber shot (with xenon flash) and walkman(with all the works)series,maybe thats asking to much.

AFAIK,
Capacitive i like the iphone's, which is the best!, a mere fingertouch.
Thje resistive is when you need to press alittle, you can even use a stylus(like nintendo nds???)
I am really concerned about the clear audio myself.
I have a w995 (red) and I have always bought SE because of its high music quality....

Can anyone tell me the difference between the capitive and resistive touch screens? Which type of screen i can use the stylus like Garmin GPS's? Also, does the Vivaz have equalizer eg. ClearBass on the Walkman player? How much do you think this phone will cost in Canadian Dollars?

Anither phone by SE with a 16:9 aspect ratio after Satio. Could have they done anything else? They had to follow in the footsteps of Nokia if they have to run Symbian.
SE is very fragile now and do not want to keep all their eggs in one basket. They'd rather have phones running almost all operating possible. Android, WinMo, Symbian.
Nokia on the other hand stuck to its guns with 16:9 wide displays on Symbian which others are now emulating. And with Maemo Nokia has shown that it is what it is : Market Leader.
