I can say that the 5800 has a better audio quality and speaker than vivaz. If music is in your concern, dont go for vivaz. Read gsmarena's review regarding this matter. Camera and video recording are vivaz's strengths.

lo, 28 Feb 2011Does vivaz have mega bass? Someone please reply..It doesnt have. Just download the equalizer application fron sony ericsson if you want the mega bass. Just be informed that sony ericsson vivaz is not a music phone so dont expect too much from its audio quality. :)

I'm thinking about getting this phone, but I'm not sure about the sound on it? I use my phone that I have now (Sony Ericsson K660i)to listen to music through earphones on a daily basis, and need the music to be fairly loud so I can hear it over the noise of the bus. Is this phone any good for that? And if not, is the Vivaz Pro any better? Thanks! (:

Other than that , i can tell you that i managed to install some Symbian 3 apps and hd games, thanks to vivaz processor (720Mhz) and the dedicated Gpu ,it worked smoothly like butter hh

Ive jz gt dis phne fr abt 2 weeks, n dis is a dominating monster. i bought is phne fr its camera recording n i found some pros n cons in the device n also the camera itself. the following shows the pros and cons.
pros : 8.1mpx camera (non widescreen, but will do a potrait photo good)
really sleek design
doesnt lag (except updating media)
cons : doesnt hav a camera lens shield (tht way ur lens can get scratched easily, take care)
no kinetic scrolling (except media player)
i find it hard to remove the back cover
camera pros : NEAR PERFECT PICTURE ON OUTDOOR PICS
color is almost correct
focus is clear (clearest of all the camera phnes ive seen)
camera cons : u cant take a good high detailed picture in low light conditions
no real LED flash (they stupidly gave a torchlight instead)
no xenon flash
in conclusion dis phne is really a device to use for some serious kicking photos. smooth, crisp videos. so enjoy =D hope dis helps

Ash, 26 Feb 2011I'hv already maximum the volume but why it's still soft..An... moreVivaz's speakers r meant to b soft. no matter hw loud ur volume is, it will b soft. most vivaz users suffer dis disadvantage sadly. but look on the bright side, the camera's GREAT takes perfect color shots. im comparing to nokia's carl zeiss lens, dis camera dominates. hope dis helps =D
