At the time I'm writing this (January 15 2007) 434 ppl have voted for this phone. But, the phone is not out yet and NOBODY has seen it or touched it or tried it yet.
So what's the point of all this voting? I understand if you say "it looks nice/ugly in the picture" or "the announced specs are good/bad" or something like that. But to vote at this stage, specially about "performance" is absolute nonsense.

its just my sony ericsson k310i with expandable memory.no other difference.
k310 cost me rs 5300 in India, so this one would be around rs 6000.

i juss wonder how did they leave bluetooth in sucha set in 2007 .odawise i agree with da post below.
and they shud givv sum new colors 2 in such sets like indigo n orange .lol

This fone shuld be prices below $130 like the z530....and may not come bundled with mem card

one word for this fone...PERFECT...
this is the mother of all budget phones.....
They have no bluetooth so that cuts of $25 and only infrared and usb which is fine for uploading songs....
MEMORY card could've been miniSD but this is more common now so fine...
Classic looks with walkman logo and sound gonna be a rage
VGA camera keeps costs down...
No FM also keeps costs down
we are looking at what could br the most successful SONY ERICSSON walkman phone ever!!!one for the MASSES

SE has come up with a stunner i must say. If its price is around 6500 here in pak it might be the nightmare for other cell makers hats off SE

Weight is so good.
UBC, 65K colors is enough.
Memory Card support, very good.
No Bluetooth, but ifrared and USB. So you can put music in it by USB.
Camera is good, my k700 is VGA but has a very good quality, comprable to some 1MP cameras.
Built-in handsfree is important.
Walkman Media Player 1.0 is a good program for playing music.
Talk time is saticefying.
As far as I can see it is a good phone, IN ONE CONDITION, its price be lower than 150$.

Hmmm.. nice fone, simple walkman fone but no radio, but has memory slot, can play mp3 music.. yeah its nice... mabuhay!!! hi hi hi

well... to the post before mine... its true that majority of the world's population cant afford high-end products so they gotta make do with whatever they can afford... n this phone is perfect for them...
great phone... will buy one if it came to singapore cos im sick of nokia n their low quality n high asking price...

i can't understand why such rich people come here in this site and talks nothing but criticizing the low-ends. please people not all people can be as rich as what you are right now(as the 70-80% of the people of the world were not so rich). this phone is for the mass who want's something cool in their pocket with an affordable price as most of the phones came boring and too bland.

meh. The camera doesn't matter, the MOTOROKR only came with a VGA. Of course it's going to be cheap if it has a substandard camera, it'll be one the everyone can afford.

is this a development? week display,vga camera,no bluetooth,no edge.it is not an explanation that this model is aimed at people with low income or something like that.nowadays we should expect much better specification than this.even in this class.time is ticking away....

this phone design is ok. but camera is too poor,how come this phone will be no bluetooth and low quality camera? but at least got support m2 memory card slot. very dissapointed...

whta's with all the sudden recycling? has sony ericsson run out of ideas?!!! seriously, w810 is relatively cheap. i don't see why s.e has to come up with a budget phone with the w810. w810 has evrything for anyone in need of a portable entertainment source. no one wants a vga cam anymore. gawd. dis is do disappointing.
