love this phn, it supports video files (use superencoder to encode videos - mp4), i have 1GB M2 card but it works perfectly, also supports cards up to 4 GB, quality sounds, camera is not that good but who cares, is the best vga ever made, for people like me who likes music is the perfect ,, toy'', small and the battery lasts very long 5 hours in normal mode and about 8-9 hours in walkman mode (listening music). PS - mega bass is a great thing also

5ushi, 01 Dec 2008I think I have found another bug on the W200 - can somebody... morei think its a bug Sony just left behind but its just easy to solve just restart the phone and everything will be fine w200 stands up on budget phones its one heck of a music phone..cranking up the bass feature will make your nosebleed..i never believed it at first but when ive purchased and tried it..it made me dance to the beat..music quality 100%... yeah!

I think I have found another bug on the W200 - can somebody test this out for me please..?

I am playing music via the WALKMAN player, minimize it, and start up a game. While I am playing the game, the music finishes, and is supposed to change tracks. But it doesn't. When I minimize the game and see what the WALKMAN player is doing, it is continously changing tracks by itself until I intervene. When I try to play a track after that, it comes out with 'Playback failure'. So I try to go to file manager and play a song from there, but it says 'Cannot play this sort of file'. So I turn the phone off and on, and the songs are playing like usual. But the same problem repeats itself when I play the WALKMAN player with a game.

Can anyone see if this is the case? My WALKMAN settings are on Shuffle On, Repeat ALL.

I would love to see this bug resolved in the near future (if it indeed is a bug)

w200i is really a fabulous phone.its a real worth for money as just in 4000 bucks u get a full fledged personal entertainment device.

plus points:-
1.fabulous looks
2.small,sleek & light, so easy 2 carry
3.eay 2 use, and above all
4.gr8 music quality (with headphones)

drawbacks:-
1.camera is not so good
2.does'nt have bluetooth.

my w200 does not play AAC format but its written that it plays AAC according to this website!!!

Harry, 25 Nov 2008I have several mp3s on my pc that i want to get onto my w20... morefirst of all get a card reader then take out ur M2 card out of the fone & put it in that card reader then install disc to fone software provided with your hand set & try sending the tracks by this way, i don't know where ur making the mistake

I have several mp3s on my pc that i want to get onto my w200, i bought a cable of the net as i had lost my usb data cable but now it will add the files to my phone but thay wont play, is there anything that i can do to get them to work?

I've bought my W200i 3 months ago & i've noticed the sound quality specially MEGA BASS is not as much powerfull as K750i or W810i, are u facing the same prob as well ?
i've tried using the same handsfree which comes with W810i in box pack but still there was a huge difference in sound quality, K750 & W810 are much louder as compared to w200 & i'm so much dissopointed, is there any patch or some thing from which the sound can be more powerfull & louder which can shake my brain out ... ?
