Hello...hello... any body in here?
when u need better and louder sound in w200, u can use MMC60 (stereo audio cable series) t0 connected with your stereo set, stereo audio sound system, etc.
now im using :
- SE W200i (music player).
- BRISTON (stereo sound system).
- BOSE ( 10'' stereo speaker set).
wow...wow...a nice music in my room.
USD 5 only for a MMC60.

why do you people care so much for bluetooth?nothing is perfect in this world hellow!kock knock!hey if sony adds up a bluetooth on the phone price will increase and the fact that infrared is much cheaper..

I have purchase this mobile just a week before It is a great mobile in avilable mobile at whole planet . only bluetooth is missing.

The W200 is NOT CAPABLE OF GETTING A VIRUS. The only phones that are capable of getting viruses are phones which have a Symbian or Windows OS platforms. The W200 has neither. So if your phone is not functioning properly, it mostly likely has hardware damage (eg, dropping or moisture exposure). If not, your firmware has become corrupted (eg, taking the battery out without turning off phone).
In terms of people finding viruses on their M2 card, GET A REFUND. They are mostly likely to be fake cards, or even second hand ones.
I SHALL REPEAT - THE W200 IS NOT AFFECTED BY WINDOWS (PC) BASED VIRUSES. IF YOU BUY A MEMORY CARD, FORMAT IT BEFORE USE (IF YOU BELIEVE THAT YOUR MEMORY CARD IS NOT NEW)

My son's just got a W200i with 2GB... moreI used w800i before and now using K608 when i lost my other one. i am really a fan of sony ericc...my opinion is, if u intend to use ur phone on taking pictures go for a higher pixels and "K" series..."W" series are are for music, though in my w800i pictures are also really good.

The W200i can OFFICIALLY support upto 2GB M2 cards. There are M2 cards on the market which have upto 8GB capacity. I believe that the W200 is compatible with the 8GB cards, however the loading time of the phone will take at least 3 minutes (since the phone needs to establish how much memory it has and what files are present in the card). It takes about 1 minute to fully load a W200 with a 1GB card (that is fully loaded), so imagine the load times with a half-full 8GB card~!
The performance of the phone will depend on how much free INTERNAL MEMORY you have. It is best to leave at least 20MB of internal memory, and store all your files onto the memory card.

You will need to get the memory card onto your PC (ie, via memory card slot etc) and move it manually, like you would with a flash drive. Depending on the type of file (audio, picture, video), you will need to put the file into the matching folder, or the Sony Ericsson phone will NOT display them in the file manager. When you get the M2 card onto your PC, you will see a few folders. Find the one which has the folder (Media Files, or words to that effect). In that folder, there will be more subfolders such as 'audio', 'video', 'pictures' and such. Hope that helps.

its max is i think upto 8 gigabytes, and about the software issue try to install disc2phone or just plug in the usb port when the pc detects it as a new hardawre device don't press the cancel button and then open you my computer to see the memory card

Guilherme, 02 Sep 2008I just got this W200 and I'm very satisfied. I'm transferin... moreplease check again...if yo PC is virus-free. may be some virus disable on optical drives (e.g.e2u.exe). install or update yo antivirus software. and u can try installing it again.

I just got this W200 and I'm very satisfied. I'm transfering all my files through the "transfer file" mode, that run´s ok (my notebook recognized it as a pendrive).
But when I tried to install the CD software I got an error window without any message, just the "ok" buttom.
So I tried to install by plugging and let the Windows Wizard make the job, but when I first connect the cell to the PC, Windows recognize it, show the plug and play's ballon with the correct model's name, but never finish the instalattion (freezes when it´s reading the CD with the drivers).
I have a WinXP SP2. Does anyone had the same problem?

but u can try with 4GB or 8GB... ( I dont know ).
