its really cool actually all sony ericssion phones are cool i am using it from four months its really amazing but the draw back is it dosen't support video shooting

Having used this phone for the past few months, first i want to say that it is an amazing mp3 player with cell phone capabilities. If that is the device you are looking for, i would strongly consider this one. The problems with it, in my experience, include:
-There are no lights on the exterior mp3 buttons, which is not a big deal except that they are all kind of small, strangely shaped, and close together. Sometimes i find myself not being able to easily find the navigation buttons in the dark.
-Most phones since, i dont know, 2005 or so maybe? have been quad-band (pick up reception on four frequencies). For whatever reason, this phone is a tri-band (three frequencies). Now, this shouldnt be a problem for most people, especially in big cities. but if you live out in the middle of nowhere and find service hard to come by from time to time (that's me, which is why i bring this up), you will find that whatever phone you have now probably gets better service everywhere than this one.
Beyond that, i will reiterate that this is an mp3 that texts and calls. Everything functions well on it (except for picking up service for some of us), and its a great piece of technology.

For an honesty on the phone here it is, the speaker is very mono and limited. If the band your listening recored in stereo you're going to miss half the sound at least. The volume never is just right, either too soft from being more than a foot from your ear on the loudest setting or to loud because you have to hold it right next to your ear to really hear anything at all. The keys are flat out a nusance, I've sent up to and not stopping at fourty something incomplete text messages because the backbutton is less than a centimeter from the send button, what artard thought of this I don't know but it gets better. When your not sending incomplete texted messages you'll find yourself having to push the back button to get all the way back to the main screen, so if you go all the way into the phone for something count on having to pess a button a few times to get back to main screen. The screen savers pretty cool cuz now you can have animated gifs, it sucks because it'll last for a max of say....three seconds and you have to have the flimsy flip plastic open....WHY WOULD YOU EVEN HAVE IT OPEN IF YOUR NOT USING IT? I think I mentioned a flimsy peice of plastic? Ah yes I did, that's for controlling the music in walkman mode and it's nothing more than a near paper thin peice of plastic, probably even less durable. Whatelse is there...um preset unchangable soft keys and directional settings, ummm I think that's about it. Oh and the package I almost forgot about this part, you need a sd card for memory obviously and to store music, again obviously. The kicker is that it won't take just any micro sd card but a limited two gig one that cost forty bucks when four gigs are half that. The head set needed to use the radio isn't included that kind of wraps up to a, everything you need to make this thing do what it's being sold to do is sold sepperately, like selling a car without the tires or engine.
Basically it's this, they were selling it as a walkman phone and in that light they succeded for people who don't take their music seriously or never really listened to it in the first place. Other than I'd have to say the failure of this phone can only be described in one word, epic.

I had mine last August and after a moth of having it, Ive had problems with it not opening anymore. One time I sent it to SE service center they had it reformatted then less than a week, it happened again. It got replaced (i waited exactly 30 days for that) and now, after 2 months i am having the same problem. I am now thinking about reselling it after it gets fixed. I really feel bad bcoz i really liked this phone, and warranties are just for a year. I cannot bear having it sent to the service center every 2 months. damn.

so always open the flip before talking.
