This piece is already extremely beautiful and a welcome-back-flip-down flagship. I'm definitely not trying to be a nag but with an extendible external antenna, this would have been looked better. Okay, these days thanks to the development of mobile switch/repeater/relay stations, high density of towers and efficient signal processing -- an external antenna is functionally a ridicule. But looks ... for the looks' sake, an extendible antenna's style is totally matchless. No nagging again. Honest.
SE Rules. And so does Samsung.

Electromagnetic Fields oh my goodness
so many studies. Everybody wants to say it's good it's bad... where is the money? The money is on saying that it's OK and every time somebody says it's a problem somebody puts more money on top to say it's not. It is a problem! BUT NOT FOR ME!

wen i looked at it, i cud not take my eyes off. do u peple knw that it has a GPS(global positioning system)like one in N95?? bt it is not in built. it can b converted to gps phone by adding an extra accessory(sony ericsson HGE-100 GPS enabler). this is not compatible wid all the fones, bt this is compatible,
the style is awesome. i'm gonna buy it as soon as it is in the market. i already hav 4 fones; a sagem my202x, a substandard dual sim tv fone, n k750 & w200 n i use all of them. there is no fone that is not in use.
compared to other brands like nokia,samsung, moto, lg etc, this one in its price range has a lot to offer . infact a lot more than them to offer. i'm waiting for its launch in may 08. thanx sony ericsson for the superb style wid excellent features.
bt i think, the rear shud hav not had the silver border around the cam lens. it shud hav been full black. n there shud hav either been a mic on the flap's lower end(wen opened) or the keys outside must b able to recieve or end a call , so that one need not get indulged in openeing the flap wen in hrry or urgent call is ringing.

were as look at this W350i ..its a Classic Unique Design with a New Modern Engine and Features!

I'm surprised on how people write just to show that their minds are normal, but actually not. Or maybe they are still new in this mobile technology. Please observe Posting Rules. If you don't want one phone over the other, keep it to yourselves. There's no such perfect phone.

simply the best design.. can't be overlooked. never. this original mobile flap is the only thing that created the oomph for mobiles for people who used them for status.really a retro look. never mind the features as long as it does wat it is meant to.. nice going sony.

The SE Web site indicates this is a quad band phone. No mention of regional specific Versions, all appear to be quad band. GSMA, please re-check your source data and can we get a consensus here.

Went phone is closed, do this closed buttons push the buttons underneath it or are they seperate buttons themselves?

My god, you are all quite childish really, it's only a phone, it's not gonna change your life in any way, shape or form. And for pittys sake would you stop slagging Nokia users off. We all buy phones for different reasons. Just because you (Dani and Florin and many others) only like Sony Ericsson phones doesn't mean we all have to just to keep you happy. If you don't have any valid opinion that doesn't involve breaching the posting rules then please don't bother. At the end of the day Sony make music phones and Nokia make good all rounders. I would much prefer to have a phone to make calls and send texts and my iPod for music.
Don't be haters, it's just a phone so get over yourselves for once will ya.

this design is amazing, it combines the retro flip for access to the keys, with the modern music buttons on the front, im usually biased and buy nokias for the operating system, but how cool would you look pulling this out of your pocket?

Yeah! your right Sony Ericsson Rules New Generation for Sony Ericsson! and "Nokia phones are ugly and cheap phones"! and the Nokia phones are ruining the image opf Sony Ericsson bec. they only want Nokia to be the best which will never happen!

I think this is the best phone sony ericsson has ever made!!! It is not in stores, but when it comes out, I'm going to buy it deffinetly!!! I give the three tens grades for it, and no matter it's has a little bit weaker camera than some else, i love it!! It's nice and i recommend it to everyone who wants a phone with style and class.

Nice try, this looks like Ericsson (before it sold to Sony) style. Remember the old days? I think this's gonna be hot for awhile and everyone else out there's gonna follow and copy LoL.
