I bought this phone for a day and after putting a few songs on it...It wouldn't turn on again. >.> Just lead me to a white screen like other people have said. I'll be bringing it to the agent to try to get it fixed...But I sort of regret buying this by how much people saying that it's a terrible phone.

I bought this phone in May this year because I really like its design, however one months down the track, overnight without dropping the phone once, I lost the camera function or ringtone volume as well. It took 6 weeks to fix and apparently was a manufacturer's hardware problem. Now I ve noticed the reception quality is poor! I have missed calls completed and find missed calls msg without the phone even ringing because it was out of service!. I have since switched to the w910i, so far so good!

I had a Sony Ericsson before this and loved it. Unfortunately (after a year and a half!) it finally went bust :(. I felt confident with buying this phone back in June of this year, but in August the screen went really weird and then it worsened and the screen would only turn on sometimes when I flipped it up. Within the last week or so its started to go negative and it freezes and fades all the time. Sometimes goes mirrored and spilts into two screens. So I'm giving up and just gonna get a cheap phone that I can call people, text people with and use it as a radio, cause thats all I need. I'd also like to point out that I have only ever dropped it once (and after it broke) admittidly it probably worsened the situation, but over all this phone is really faulty. My friend's got it and has had problems with her screen too. Good company (most people I know have Sony Ericsson and they are all great) but crap phone.

but the service centre repaired it as they changed its display
now its functioning well

i love my sony ericsson w380i
the one face off about this phone is that it dowsnot have video recording. i love the sound of its earplugs. battery life is ok. not so good. but it wont let u down.
the most funky feature is its gesture control

Our w380 has been a disaster. Had the phone 6 months, with five of those at the service center. They never fix it, and just send it back.
Battery life is pathetic! No where near what Sony states. Sleak design, but design doesn't save you if it is dead.
Skip proprietary laden Sony! Get Samsung or Blackberry

Dam good phone for its price n audice its targeted..though the camera is a slight let down video recording can be installed later with modding, very good batery life, looks , sound quality..though miss the controller n dj apps normaly provided and above satisfactory phones!!...best is Sony no problems,virus,hang ups!! SE 4 EVA!!

Beware, this phone has no video recorder. I was sold this at the carphone warehouse with it supposidly having one, I am now trying to get a refund for this phone, very disappointing. I have spoken to carphone warehouse Head Office and they inform me, that there areno refunds on any orange handsets, which I wasnt told in the shop either. I now have to go back to my Sutton store and have it out there. Wish me luck £79.99 is a lot to lose

This is the worst. Please do not buy this phone. I have had so many problems with it. After 2/3 rings the calls go into vm then I don't get my messages until a day later. Cuts off most of my calls. I have had the same service with my other phone so I know its not the service.

I bought my w380 last october 10, and today, i incurred a problem, it doesn't turn on, and evry time i turned it on, i had a white screen, thanks to god, it has a wararnty, i bought it to the service center and they told me that it might b a software or a ribbon problem, it isnt worth buying d phone, i bought it for 8k,

I have a problem with this phone, I cant watch videos from youtube, there is a problem with the video player, I think the sofware is the problem.
