its amazing! i think am buying this one... but i think 1.3 MP is the only thing that i didnt like...

guys, this is a walkman phone!!! If you want to take good photow, just go and buy a K...series phone, for example the K850i ...!!! The w380 is one of the best phones for music fans...hope it will be cheap.....

I read in a review that the starting price will be 250-300 $...quite much for his features.

This has got to be THE BEST looking phone i have EVER SEEN! Square is so cool man, this phone rocks. BUT, 1.3mp camera? wtf? way to ruin a great design. ALTHOUGH, if you look at the specs on the Sony Ericsson Australia Website, it doesnt specify the camera mpx yet, which, with previous experience, means that it hasnt yet been finalised. good news, maybe?

A sexy clam shell was really missing in Sony's Fones...this one fills the gap..very nice & stylish mid range fone IMO..

This phone would be good and i would get one but only if id had a better camera. otherwise its not realy any better than my SE W550 which is near 2 years old now

ok. first of all. the comments about how phones with higher mp are only for "rich" people? great way to show your incompetent knowledge of phones. anyone knows that upon activating a good contract with a span of around 2 years will already get you a decent plebe 2.0mp phone, so there is no excuse about why this phone should be 1.3mp when its coming out next season. this phone would have been the perfect buy if it had not been for the camera. why SE, why? why ruin the most marketable phone ever by giving it such a handicapped camera? as for affordability, look at w580i! it only came out this summer and many networks are offering it under 100 dollars or even free with contract. guess what? it has 2.0mp camera and good functions, would work as a plebe fone or even someone tech-savvy. i have one as a backup myself. hello, talk about wrecking what could have been possibly the best phone of 2008 Q1

Just to let all of you know, this phone has the three optic keys in the front of the clamshell: when you touch, a small vibration occurs. To mute a call, wave your hand ontop of the phone (not touching it) to mute the call.
Amazing for a low-end phone. That's why it's only 1.3 mp, because it's low end. Hey you can get it for pretty cheap when it comes out
