Do not go for phones like this...I myself suffered from an f305..both look almost similar and have equal specs...D3V1l is right about the disadvantages, which also apply for the f305...no bluetooth java transfer, resolution is like crap, no support in pc suite, motion sensor is fake (camera is used for detecting movement)..should have been priced in the rs4000 range like w200i...trash this phone...do not make the mistake of buying this, or the f305...

Hi Everyone,
I'm using this phone for 4 months now.
I'm really shocked as I bought this phone. I don't understand where people are founding so much good in this phone. What I got is just a piece of crap. Here's what I've got :
ADVANTAGE:
> Good sunlight legibility
> Awesome audio quality
> Awesome loud speaker quality
> Scratch resistant back side
> Good out look
> good battery
> Powerful FM radio
DISADVANTAGE:
> WALKMAN interface looks bad on such low resolution
> Light effect and visualization doesn't match with music
> Headphone port is not so strong at all & ear piece is big in size
> Camera quality is worst I've ever seen it looks like a very low resolution photo is converted to 2MP
> Video capturing is very poor too
> File playing in file manager is awful
> Video playing doesn't show time
> Video player can't open files larger than 8 MB
> cant set shortcuts on navigation keys
> Very little number of shortcuts are available
> Captured photos cant be opened in full screen from file manager (Horizontal photos cant be shown in landscape)
> No photos can be rotated
> No zooming option at all
> NO photo editor
> Bluetooth java isn't supported
> NO PC SUITE SUPPORT AT ALL
> NO OPERA MINI SUPPORT AY ALL
> Fake motion sensor
> NUM pad is very unfriendly
> Sound quality is poor on telephony
> YOU CAN NEVER SEE CALL DURATION AFTER CALL
> NO LOW BATTERY SIGNAL
> In setting menu every option is very poor with very limited options
> Data cable is often disconnected
Here's most of what i could remember now.
I'm sure most of the readers are having a bad idea of me. Because of so much bad comment. But i'm sure the real owner of this phone knows how true i'm. I don't think i've wasted so much of my valuable time just for hesitating people. I don't want that other people gets double crossed just like me. THINK AGAIN AND AGAIN before U bye it.
My question to SONY ERICSSON is "How can i use a phone that (costs 12000 TK. &) DOESN'T SHOWS CALL SUMMARY, DOESN'T SUPPORT PC SUITE, AND SOUNDS BAD WHILE TALKING.

Best buy... perfect phone for practical people, nice music sounds, you'll enjoy it. I got this unit for only 5,990 - Yes!

it is a very lowest quality of sony ericsson mobile. it is not support 3gp video file format . i am very sad to brought this mobile.pls do not buy this mobile.

first of all in considering this phone you have to look at the main factor - its an entry to mid range Sony, so dont expect crystal clear brilliance and 101 features.
In the price range that the w395 falls into its a bargain and a steal, the W395 blows most of the other similar priced phones out of the water. id compare this sony to the old f500i from a few years back, also a cheap phone that could handle and do almost anything else that the competing phones did at the time.
if you are a diehard nokia fan then stay away, sonys interface is very different to nokia's, but if you are open minded then give this lil baby a shot, i think you will be suprised on what you all get from this one hardcore lil phone

you CAN download mxit for this mobile phone. MXIT has a good version on their site. if you are having problems its your network provider to blame as some networks block mxit.
as for any other software problems, if you just be patient SE are always having upgrades done.

dis cel is a crap thing. nothin GUD in it. my cousin bought it for 7.500 and its just a waste. rit from da first day it got hanged up even if der was free memory o 1.5 gb. and da sound is oK. BUT NOT AS GUD As my SONY ERICSSON W550I. SONY ERICSSON W550I ROX AND YA SONY ERICSSON RULES...

this phone doesn't support notepad function, only have 1 alarm, cant rotate the photo that you capture. the photo capture in dark place is not nice, at bright place is much beauty.
so i forget my reason to buy this phone. Only 1 thing i like is music is good.
so this phone can suggest for those who want to buy for mummy and daddy.
