Asma, 10 Apr 2009Is it better than nokia 5610 express music? for music and i... moreIt is better than the Nokia. I've got the nokia now and i wish i never brought it. The nokia is good for the first couple of weeks, and then starts freezing, and you have to constantly update it. The nokia also has problems with the memory, it always says memory low even if you have 10 MB free. The buttons at the side of the nokia can be a problem too, mine broke. However, the sound quality on the nokia is good, but there are more cons on the nokia than what you would find on the sony.

I read a lot about the w395 and i'm sure i will buy it.

Like F305, this phone had a lot of problem since they had a same platform, A050.
A200 and A050 often make people confuse. Both of them use new SE keypad formation (dedicated call button)
But, the differences between A050 and A200 platform is simple, A200 had HSDPA support and A050 just had GPRS/EDGE.
Don't buy A050, it's a big mistake.

Robin, 07 Apr 2009ony ericssion have tft srceen which is good in comparision ... moreThere is certainly no Nokia phones with TFD display...Nokia has so far used CSTN, TFT and OLED basde displays in its devices...next time do researches before posting...
moreover at this price point, Nokia already delivers phones (5130XM, 5220XM and 5310 XM) with QVGA TFT display and true 3.5mm jack which is essential to being a music-oriented mobile devices.

finally see the real things. What's with the
glossy things... just like 5130 XM, this one
even worse.. it looks quite glossy, but not
glossy enough to make it mirror look, so ended
up with cheap design :((( I thoght it would have
a doff finishing surface (titanium look). Is it
just the dummy or what?

I bought w395 2 days ago and today i returned it. It has not pc suite support and although they give the USB cable you can only transfer files. If you try to connect the usb on phone mode it asks for drivers. If you download the drivers from SE site you can not onstall them. As long as you start installation of the drivers they can not detect the phone connected. SE support center just informed me that this phone does not support pc suite and the drivers are not compatible with windows XP SP3. I tried to other 3 computers the same problem. I search on the internet and now I realised that this phone as long as F305 are made by Sagem instead of SE. Its menu does not look like SE either. Finally, if you try to send your contacts from your old mobile by bluetooth is not supported to made it massively but only one by one. Concluding, excellent design but very bad phone in terms of connectivity and menu fuctions...

well ... i wrote this the day i got this phone ... to tell u the truth i didnt really want to get it ... it was my only choice ... i had a w380 that i LOVED ... but ... i had problems with that so i replaced it with this : . there is no Saved messages folder in the messeges section ... the saved messages are with the phone messages in inbox.
well it has MAJOR shortcut problems...i cant even put a shortcut to my inbox.
Cant change the name of the Profiles !!!
New and Weird things on this mobile its more of a Nokia than a sony ericsson. it has a call button instead of the (one step back button) and it has an end call or cancell everything which also functions to turn on & off the phone instead of the SHORTCUT button.
i'm not really gettin used to the keys ... but i think its becoz its my 1st slide phone.
the only way to lock the keypad other than the autolock is by sliding it open then back closed.
and i read here that its scratch resistent ... mmm ya i just checked it on the sony ericsson website :P
When recording a Sound ... well its only for 30 seconds and NOT during a phonecall ... i sometimes find it slow ...
You cant zoom-in in the camera when taking pictures ... !!! neither can u zoom in into a picture when u view it !!!!!!
there is only 1 Alarm ... no more ...
i find it a but slow ... at times ... !! :@
Appearently they dont want the phone to be Too loud becoz of health reasons or something ...
There is no Voice Command in the Mobile ... its funny .. coz the nokia 3330 i had 7 years ago had voice command in it ...
the calander is by week not by day ... well i dont know if this is a con or pro !
The headphones ... well they are the same as the W380 ... i HATE them ... whenever they are on there is this shhhshshsshhshshs sound that i hate ... i dont know if its normal or not !
now Pros ... : The vedio player is Amazing ... i just love it ... and u can fix the photoes in the mobile automatically ... i mean the light in the pic ... which is a very nice thing ...
the memory thats included is not bad at all ... 1 gega is great i suppose... its not really expensive... and when the walkman is on there could be some light effects that are not bad as well ...
well i'm not really good at saying whats good in a mobile ... !
