Check out the softwares for W800i, rakesh. You can download them either via GPRS or onto your PC itself and transfer them to the phone through the included PC Suite software, though GPRS is better. You can eMail me for details.
Yes, you can, mark. When you connect the phone to your PC via the provided USB cable and select the 'File Transfer' option, it shows up as a removable drive.

can someone please tell me WHHHHHYYYYY!.. sony , insists on puttin those dam square antennas on their dam phones.....dammmit.........ye its probly good for reception or sum crap.........but its the only reason i havnt bought this phone yet......aaarrrrrggghhh!!!!!

Hi Aayush, Checked the site which u referred to me but it doesnt have software for w550i. Once more thing how do i download the software in my mobile. I mean i have to download it from sonyericsson centre or thru GPRS. .... pls help me dear i m novice to all these stuff.....

Frnz I just purchased W550i, its really a great phone from SE. The problem is my frnds love to take my phone in their hands whenever they got chance.... They hve access to all my Picture, video & MMS folders. Pls suggest me, is there any option thru which I can make my folders hidden. Or Is there any software which can make my folders password protected.

Yes, Shade, this phone is ten times faster than Nokia phones. And let me tell you, Nokia 3230 is the SLOWEST phone in the world, period. As Muski already mentioned, this phone's resolution and colour configuration is better than 3230 or 6630 which results in crisper display but the screen is a bit smaller in size. The phone has just 92 MB of in-built memory and isn't expandable, ricky. It's pretty easy to see why I cannot recommend that phone.

it is much much faster than nokia phones, coz they are smart phones and take time operating... and yeah this phones screen is even better and bigger thn ur fav nokia 3230 n 6630... they both have 56k 176x208 pixel scrn... but this georgeous fone here has 262k 176x220 pixel scrn resoluton man ... this phone rocks in capabilities

Wow. I didn't know that the phone has so many functions. I think I will go for this one and forget about 3230 and 6630. And people say that this is a lot faster than Nokia phones. Is that true? Well if it is, then this phone is the one for me.
I have another question, is the screen of this phone bigger than that of k700i or are they just the same? And how can I compress songs into 64 or 32 kbps? Thanks in advance.

w550i user, I am sorry to say that it is not possible.
Dominic, you obviously can't do that. How can you record audio or video while listening to MP3s! I've tried that, it's not possible.
