ive been using this phone for 3 years not but the middle key pad's colour came off.. can i replace the keypad with a brand new 1??? PLS HELP ME

i have this phone about 2 yrs now its my second one first one was stolen:(:(.....the screen is a bit lose now from constant opening and closing of it..great sound not one compaint about it except for the memory not being big enough camera cud b better bu i wnt compain its the best phone ive had ppl think its too big but i wil use it til the end of its life i love it!!! it gets 10/10 from me!!

I have to admit, ive never actrually owned this phone, my friend had one...and at the time i owned nokia 6280 (not a bad phone) My friend let meplay with his se 550....My god this is not only a beautiful looking fone, its wonderfully constructed. The slide mechanism is fantastic, miles better than the 6280 i had. it feels good in your hand.... Mp3 player, brilliant clear sound, loudspeaker is great... camera is pretty good. I envied my friend for a long tiome when he had this phone.. never bought one, but in the short space of time i used it...would highly recommened it...even now

It's a great phone, extremely reliable, great features, a typical SE top Quality handset. Lack of external memory has been no problem to me, i find that i don't use the music features very often witth an ipod aswell. The build quality is very sturdy, the swivel is EXTREMELY strong, never moved an inch over its mark, and no loose-ness of any kind, after 6 months of practically constant use and open-shut etc. The keypad is suprisingly easy to text on, once you get used to it, and very fast, NO LAG! User interface is very fast, not bugs what so ever, interchangable plates is great, its a pity few phones have this now. great, loud ringtones and a FANTASTIC locking feature on the side. Seriously, something as simple as the key lock i wouldnt normally comment on, but its just a slick flick of this switch and your all good. never come unlocked like other phones cough *nokia* cough. Sony Ericsson make purely fantastic phones, ive owned nokias, moto's, Siemens (which, thank god, no longer exist), panasonic and Samsungs, all of which are no comparison to Sony Ericsson for reliability and practicality. This is my 5th SonyEricsson, and as ive had it for 6 months, im now looking to upgrade...too yes, you guessed it, another Sony Ericsson!

i bot a se w550i 6 months ago and first time i started its walkman player i was shoked wat a great sound Megabass is awesome i feel like i'm in a cinema theatre.thnks to sony & sony ericsson family. if it had 2mp camera and expandable memory, gash what a phone then. "like.no.other".now i am using only siny and sony ericsson. everyone should try it......SE rocks thanks SE
