is it true that this phone only captures 1 min. max video coz' in the other website i saw, it only captures 1 min. video

Hiyaaa Everyone... Jst received my W550i..Was jst wondering if I could Flash the firmware of the W550 with that of a W800????? If That can b done it wud b great... Hope to hv a reply soon....tc

i ve been takin care of my W550i like a baby yet i got a scratch on my screen:( . the plastic over lcd
is at the same level as that of the face of the phone . it should ve been sunk. it would have been gr8 if the style up covers come with the plastic screen too. the phone is easily scratchable. i am wondering if i can get a transparent plastic separately. . does anyone know?

hello!i have tested w550 and k750-w800 and w550 captures better video than the k750-w800.do you have any ideas about it?

First time I used a SE Phone and it did met my expectations. Far better than Nokia Phones. Louds sounds, great display, large variety of applications and themes. Plus cool specs and design and the price is very reasonable. Great job SE... I won't be using any Nokia phones for the next few years to come.

I have the phone for almost 2 weeks but the radio doesn't work!!! And if I turn up the volume I hear nothing!! Som1 told me it's a software problem but how do I solve that?? Plz help me or mail me at nouschi_n@hotmail.com I really want to listen to the radio and the store won't take it back or exchange it!!! And for the rest it's very funky

Connect the phone to the PC via the USB post. It will work as a removable drive. Now paste your JAR files in the 'other' folder. Disconnect the phone and switch it on. Navigate to 'Menu >> File Manager >> Others' and click on the copied files one by one to install them. You may delete the JAR files once you install them in the 'Applications' or 'Games' folder. Hope that helped!

u wont have the white screen problem once you updated ur fon to the latest software ^.^...
btw...you CAN download java games to the fon...its stated in the fon specifications that it HAS java =.=

I got plenty of jar files... but i dont know how to transfer them to the fone.

I just bought a Sony-Ericsson W550i Walkman. The unit is quite good,especially the sound and the built-in memory of 256MB is enough to download mp3 files and graphics, but the camera/video is discouraging during night time especially if the light is poor. The built-in LED light is helpless except when you take pictures or video clips at about 10 to 20 inches. Farther than that, it is totally useless.

i had the phone for quite awhile now, but there is no serious proplem i've occured yet. the white screen problem happened to me twice, but i just took off the battery and put it back again, swith it on and its back to normal. so its no problem for me. :)yeah. i agree the only problem with the phone is the camera. everything else is perfect. hoping that sony will fix something in the next firmware.. autofocus?

hey all! how kool does this phone look?! omg...! anywayz, i've been doing a lot of research on it, n i've heard of a common problem called the white screen problem? apparently, the screen turns white for no reason...n i'm a bit worried, is it very common in all countries? or just selected unfortunate handsets...i live in Australia, n i've read abt some pplz who've had this problem here...wat abt other places? 2 all who own this amazing phone, r there any other serious problems that mite occur? thx so much in advance...plz plz plz help me!!!
