i bought this phone one year back,initially it is good but now camera stopped working,very low battery life,some times hangs,very delicate.s................please dont buy \\\

i have had this phone for two years and i am very pleased with it. the camera takes very good quality pictures and the video camera on it is pretty good too. this cell phone has many useful features, like a calendar, calculator, pedometer, a fitness setting which can count the calories you are burning, a notes feature and a tasks one, alarms, a photoDJ and a videoDJ (for editing photos and videos), a musicDj (which allows you to create ringtones), and many more. There is also a very good music player (walkman)which allows you to play your own music through the speakers or through earphones. There is also a radio which uses the earphones as an antenna. The call feature of the phone is very reliable; i have rarely had problems with it, the speakerphone is good and the conference call option is too. the only downside of this phone, in my opinion, is the texting: there is no qwerty so texting is difficult/tiring sometimes, and the keys crack easily (however, they are still usable, and this is not such a problem). overall this phone has been very good and i would definitely recommend it.

raito, 14 Jul 2010my w580i only play the sound and not the video in mp4 video... moreThIS is not true 580i play video in mp4 very good. Even 352*220 resolution. Some nokia phone not play video of this resolu. Some mp4 video audio format is aac+ and video format is h.263 262. So phone play sound only sound not video.

The phone is pretty but very delicate. It falls onces and things start to go wrong. And the little port where u put in a new memory card is very delicate. It doesn`t close easily and keeps popping up. Also, the memory card got stuck in mine and now I can't use the port at all.

my phone fell down once and now it ain't working properly and i gave it to servicecentre, they could do nothing af it and i'm messed up
so don't buy this set

I'v used this phone for more than 2 and half yrs. It's ok and nice vary portable.. These is walkman mainly ment for music but i wounder why the battery dont last

@PRB-i used to have the w580i.It was running low on battery.i threw it out of the window.bought a new phone-NOKIA n97.u TOO DO THE SAME

joseph, 19 Jun 2010how do you put in SIM card?Pls,open the backcover
2.take the sim card
3.jsut place it as the diagram indicates
4.Now u r sim is visible to u and it is over the diagram of sim
5.u can see that the back cover has a sharp edge on two sides
6.using the sharp edge just pull it inside the phone place the battery as usual and cover it now phone will be working...........

the phone is cool, but the baterry is horrible! mine can only go maximum of 2 hours without goig off! love the music and all, but honestly, this phone has just frustrated me, and I'm getting a new one! sorry, but I'm going for a nokia next time.
