I m really impressed abt the cool lights on its sides,,,,,This phone is awsome...having a great look,sound clearity is best,,,,slider is not so gud,,but fine..All the necessary functions,,,extra functions too...display is much clear n easily viewable in sunlight,,,,its a much better phone then W395 n F305 models....i think its the greatest phone ever by sony acc to its price........so frnds if u r planning to buy this phone,,,,dont think so much,,,just buy it,,its a right decision....go for it...

I have had this phone for almost 2 months and it is exellent first I want to say about the camera its a 2megapixal.It has a pedomiter that you can use if you like to run or if you hold or put it in your pocket it say at the end of the day how many steps you have made that day

Must buy this phone, its the best so far. i have been using for 1 & a half yr, and it never gave me any problems. Its working perfectly alright, & the designs & funcions are really nice. Trust me :)

Fellows and readers, this post is 2 inform u ppl dat sony ericsson is the best brand and w580i is probably the best in looks. Its performance is fantastic. I hav used this phone and its working well. It is probably the strongest slide phone. The only precautions ppl should follow r not 2 force the selector cuz it has a speaker embedded beneath it and secondly prevent the usage of the keypad with the nails, use the whole thumb or finger. I would like to leave a msg 2 all the ones dissatisfied with this fone "TAKE A HIKE". Ur complaints would have only occured if you have been rude to this model. And all ppl who compare ericsson with nokia should know dat NOKIA IS CRAP. W580i is a typical guy phone.

Hey, i've used the w580 since 2007 & it has'nt given any serious problem. There was a time it fell into water for about 15 minutes unknown to me but it still came out working perfectly. Its simply the perfect phone.

Am using walkman w580.. Its awesome and its very gud to user friendly but handle accordingly... I lov it....

nice phone/mp3 player,, nice features & scratch resistant lcd,, only,,, you have to take care of this phone more than youre girlfriend,,

This is a really cool phone. It's got all the features (and more) that you will need in a phone. Only one negative comment, the two top circle buttons on the outside of the phone tend to stick after a few months.

fon is kool though even games, camera, sound system(my favourite thing koz the speaker is infront) n the shake control is totally rock..
bt the bad thing bout tis fon is the keypad crack easily.. need frequent service jz to chg to keypad besides tat thr nth bad bout tis fon..

oh and another thing,, its a really kool fone, itz got kool lightz n themes and what not,, but the keypad aint az gud,, if yur sum1 with long nailz dont buy it,, itz pwoppa hard tah txt! =]
btw;. are there any gud suggesttions for me coz i need a new fone which is loud, has gud memory and nyc buttons wich iz easy tah txt????

it starts messing up after a few months when youve bought it, well all fonez do eventually mess up,, but this one is too randum and getz messd realy quick.

i dont think that yu shud buy this fone.
ive had this fone for anout a year.
itz easy to use, but il tel yu the bad thingz:
1. the fone randumly turnz off[wel mine duz]
2. i tried changin my cuver, now weneva my fone fallz on the flooor, it all craks open and then takes time to join bak together.
3. the screenz messed up, the colours hav gone funny.
4. when you call someone, sometime you would stop hearin the other person, and they wud end up hangin up.
5. sometimes text messages dont go thru
thatz most ov them, i cant think of any more at the moment.
dont buy this phone.
