Great Phone to use.Easy Interface and cool features.Difficult to MOD at the beginning but with time and experience becomes an addiction

itz an amazing phone....stylish i feel proud to carry it...i have it since feb... voice clarity zz great...only de memory card gets virus which slows down the phone... or else itz the best...

Man i have a prolbem with the insert sim msg too. When the card is already in there. Have to turn off the phone and eject the card and put it back in. So troublesome..

I really like the look of the phone but the keys are a bit cramped. Recently my camera stopped working all of a sudden. Removing the back cover is also inconvenient due to it's curved design.

I hate when I am done using a feature on this phone when I slide the phone down it doesnt clear the screen. It drives me nuts! I have to manually hit the return button numerous times to get back to the screen saver. Does anyone else have this problem or is there a setting I can use that clears the screen automatically when I use the slider? Also, when I use the slider up it takes a second for the screen to pop up. Its rather slow. anyone else have this issue?

I have this phone and texted 2641 messages already. Still, no single crack on the keypad. Yey! Amazing phone. Love it. :)

the phone is good looking for sure...but how it works depends on your luck.mine stopped working after 3 days....PCB replaced...
again some applications stopped ..PCB replaced...this is the third time that the phone is out to be replaced....so my advice..
EVERYTHING THAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD....

this is worse phone i ve ever got.i got it in feb 2008,and now this phone has issues wit keypad buttons not functioning||the phone restarts automatically and displays a msg INSERT SIM,though the sim is inside||battery back up sucks,it does not giv back up 4 one complete day||memory card does not respond at times,have to press on the MMC which is on top of the cell and then MMC data is displayed||

Its one of the most slimmest phone i have ever seen it looks much beter then what it does in the picture. Its graphics are awsome.
It also has a cool light that shines on the side all the time!

it All depends on how u USE it.,.....
i have been using it since the DAy it got LAUNCHED last year Sep..in India.......and it's doin fine...and good......
IT JUST DEPENDS ON HOW U USE IT,,,,dats all.....

I just don't understand one thing...when ppl can buy a w900 or w910i series cell..why he or she should look for a 5 series....its cheaper...and w580i is a good music phone....mostly it depends on user...If any one is thinking of buying it, then plz go ahed...I am telling this cauz i 'have both 580i n 910i both r good..if u can handle it well

this phone is pretty on the outside but bare SHITTTTTT! on da inside. I had my phone for two months and it fell out of my hand on the carpet floor and da front cover broke and da screen was completely black and now I need a new celly.To anymone who is buying dis phone THINK TWICE!

same problem! keypads cracks easily... even the phone dealer ask us to think about it.. cz this phone is quite expensive.. i rather buy a CYBERSHOT phone or mayb other brand slide up phone.. NO doubt this phone really look good.. too bad ..

I bought this phone in Jan 2008, and trust me, it is only good at looks. I took it thrice by now to the service center and every time they end up saying that they will have to format the phone and the MMC. Finally they said, this model though should support upto 2Gigs of MMC, it only works fine with 64MB. God... that was crazy hell.
I am actually planning to sell it off to get a good phone from Nokia...
I've had bad experiences from Sony Ericsson on both this phone and T610i too. So, no more Sony Ericsson...

miki, 25 May 2008can somebody please tell me if they have the pink version i... morehi miki........ I think U shud go 4 W910i... Its a great fone as compared to W580i... Tel me wen U buy one ok.......
