huhu. i refrain from opening the back cover coz i know that its locks have a high chance of getting damaged. but when my bro gave me his k800i to have it fixed, its batery is drained and wont charge on his phone so i placed it in mine to charge his cp's battery. so i opened the back cover many times, and then one of the locks was broken. so better be careful guys...
yeah the keypad's hard but i find it easier to text here than w910

dawn, 01 Feb 2009i've just bought w595 yesterday after reading up much on it... moredont worry about the back cover. 1st im so easy when i try to take the cover.. but seems if you try to do it that way, it will more damage the back, just simply take it out quickly. and in time it would be easily removed. and phone cover is mixed metal and plastic, so its pretty durable

I have brought this handset just two days (1 Feb 09)
back and in the first day only its battery cover lock has been broken. Its battery cover is very thin and locks are very tight due to this its very difficult to open. Even if you will try to open two three times the chances of breakage will increase.So just open first time carefully insert the sim and forget to open and change the SIM two or three times.
I have never seen this type of big blunder in sony ericsson handsets, because i have used so many sony ericsson handset from past 5-6 years. So my experience is very bad for this Model.
Keypad keys are very tight you can't work out fast but this thing can be compromise. But if any body goes to roaming three or four times in a month and he/she want to change the sim then sorry for that type of users.

it has video call features yet how am i suppose to be viewed by the other caller if my camera is at the back? shall i have to switch front and back every time i talk to him/her? 2nd camera? ive tried to check all the options but nothing happend..

Julio Burnik, 31 Jan 2009phone might restart. whenever it freezes. it happens to me ... morewhat did i ask? hehe can't remember... oh, there's something in the screen but i think it was the plastic that regularly comes with a new phone. i dunno. cant remember if it was a screen protector like the one bought by my bf for his w910i. but i think it was just something very thin somewhat similar to a plastic cover for books eh?

i've just bought w595 yesterday after reading up much on it and collecting information about it.
this is my conclusion about it.
w595 has 3speakers, 1 on top, 1 below and 1 at the back.
the back cover you will need extra care to open it as the side of it is fragile.
the music is loud and the camera's quite clear compared to my previous phone k610i.
with the phone, there is a free 2gb sony m2 memory card. even though the screen isn't very big, it still shows great images through it. the bad point is the it is abit laggy when you use it and when messaging the hard keypad will slower down your speed abit. for me the phone is still fine and if it is without the laggyness it is quite perfect. i bought it in sg at singtel at the price of 168 while upgrading my plan. in sg there are grey,white,lava black, blue and pink.
those who wants to download free themes you can try out the themes in zedge.net, they have nice ones there. feel free to ask any questions about it.

Hey Everyone,
How can I check the latest firmware version in W595, I just bought this phone & it's keep restarting itselft 2 or 4 times a day. Any solution in regarding to this issue?

sony ericsson w595 the greatest mobile phone ever,all the features are too excellent no one can compair this phone wiht any other at same price,i call this phone as the [h.e.a.v.e.n] for me
the only bad thing about this is there is no flash light but its ok because the clearity of the camera is toooo good
my viewers pls don't be late by it now..............

got de w595...its been a month and its been terrific.the mobile has an excellent display.thanx to de latest 4.7 software and flash lite 3,de graphics is extensive.the sound quality is nt bad.but when used as ringtone....quality is bad but de vol is excellent.total ergonomics is excellent.stying is attractive.wat i like to c in SE "w" series is de 3.5mm jack.i didnt like de earphones too.otherwise i give dis mobile a 8.5/10.

xoxo, 31 Jan 20091st question* i just bought 1 unit of w595 for about 5 day... morego to your settings and on to the 1st pannel, go to security and there should be an option there m if you want to automatically unlock the keypad or not, and yes you could unlock the phone even you dont slide it,

dames, 31 Jan 2009it's not true... why it didnt come with a screen protector when you 1st got it?? because mine has one , and i removes the thing when i tried to clean the side, because of the dirt, i didnt its hard to put it back to the phone,

dames, 30 Jan 2009my phone was in the pocket of my blouse before it fell. i'v... morephone might restart. whenever it freezes. it happens to me whenever i listen to music for a long period of time, and if a lot of txt messages is received/ yet not as worse as my previous phone the w910.

1st question*
i just bought 1 unit of w595 for about 5 days ago,and yeah i already experience the automatic restarting of the phone while playing music. i dont have any other applications on, just the music. is this a problem i should consult with the service center or not?
2nd question*
i know that this phone automatically locks keypad whenever i shut the slide off, and i can unlock it even if the slide is off, but how will i lock the keypads if the slide is off,what will i press? hope you understand my concern.. thanks!
