i used to have a s710 and it was cool but i lost it and since they didnt have anymore they sent me this, its the same thing exept for the size, and the camera cover
but there are 2 huge differences s710 had a memory card slot ad w600 has walkman

I have a solution for the white screen of death....
Don't over load your phone with crap.....it's a phone not a computer. The W600i is a wicked phone and works great. I don't over load it with crap. It's a CELL phone not a COMPUTER.

w600 is for the North American market, where as the w550 is for the Euro market.... w600 also has a few more fixed bugs that the w550 had

I was wondering if this phone has the ability to broadcast the mp3's via blue tooth to a wireless headset. If not does anyone know which phones will or if it is even possible.

This phone is one of the best pnones I ever owned. And for a guy who changes phones regulaly, I think I will settle with baby for a whole...she's very user friendly, the walkman player is exceptional, only there is a no crossfading, so there is a gat between songs, The Stereo speakers has great punch for it size....Maybe the memory should be expandable...

I got this phone for about 2 months and I never had any problems with it until I got the white screen of death. Yes you guessed it, I have to send it in for repairs.
Other than that issue, the phone design is not bad. the features on the phone are mind boggling. The reception is great. all in all I give it a 7.5 out of 10.

I just got this phone over the weekend. I love everything about it (especially after the horrible nokia i had). It actually comes with two faceplates: the orange pictured, and a very dark blue one.

can you set mp3 or wav files for your ringtones ? and what is up with the WHITE SCREEN OF DEATH is there any way you can fix that without sending it to sony?

do you think a firware update will help making the camera better? like less noisy? its so annoying. i got this for my gf and now i am stuck with something no one wants.

I had the phone 3 weeks and started having glitches. I'd get a TM and open to reply and it would turn itself off. Then I'd get a call try to go handsfree and it would turn itself off. Then I'd get a call and it would turn itself off! Then the back light went out. I was past my 15 day return policy so off to Arvato Services Inc. SEMC Repair Center it goes. Hope I get it back soon. I really like listening to the radio on it!
