Anonymous, 03 Nov 2010i use for 2 year & sound record stop working now ! why ?reinstall the software with sonyericsson official software updater follow the instructions .
But first chek the available space on mem stick.

Since I got the phone 2 years ago I've had nothing but problems with it. Everything from the the battery not wanting to recharge because the coard doesn't end up in the exactly right position to the screen freezing so I had to rip the battery out to be able to use it. And the phone last summer refused to send text messages for 2-3 months in a row without a reason. I even asked a friends mom who works at Ericsson what might be wrong but she couldn't solve it. But fortunatly for me the phone started to work again so I can send text messages.
If you won't use the phone a lot then its a good extra phone. If you are gonna use this as your main phone then I suggest another one. And even though this is a walkman phone the sound from its loudspeakers aren't even worthy to be called louderspeakers. The sound is low with todays standards and if you have the sound on the highest volume the sound gets "bad" and destroys songs.
That's at least what I've gotten out of this phone.

its bad phone no document viewer,sound music like my mini radio fm ,i hate SE ,if you want real music player buy samsung L700 real music sound , multymedia phone with low price full fitur ,samsung i love u

i bought this phone a year a go. twas just a second hand but still fresh. i really love the phone its fast and you can open/ play a lot of games. so sad i dropped it at the pool and the charging system broke. nid to charge my bat anothr batery charger. but stil, the phone rocks..

i just bought this phone yesterday in used. i checked it on the shop with a mobilink sim, it was working perfectly then finall when i was to pay the price, i changed the sim. it was perfectly working even then. after leaving shop,in the next 20min i did messages and 1 0r calls and put in my pocket. after sometime when i took it out of my pocket there was a message "insert sim" even when sim is inside. i checked it by changing sim again but same result.
kindly tell me what kind of a problem it can be? wether solvable or not?
