Had this for about 2 years..
Excellent sound
Okay camera
Not buggy
Overall very nice experience
The only thing as mentioned earlier is that its orange rubber comes out of the joy stick
P.S Dropped in water and the card slot became useless.. but that was water!..

this phone is a legend phone i have dropped it in water, high places and yet it works perfectly fine
only thing bad is that ive lost the orange rubber in the joystick but i made my own with holepunch lol

How to give the password protection for this handset ? i would like to know that if my cell is only for me to recive and to make a call as well as to see all the information in it then how to protect by giving any password ?

2.5 years with this phone. Did a master reset when it become a bit sluggish 1 month ago. Runs like a charm.

HI Guys,
Am using this phone now more than 2 1/2 years, havnt encountered any problems yet.. tilll now not even Joystick problems till.. But am not able to find a new body for ma phone... Askd in SE they told 2600 K.. .

munim, 29 Jan 2009It is one of the worst mobile set in the history of sony er... morebosse ur wrong it totaly depand on ur usegs that how ur using ur cell u can'nt say it is worst im using this mobile from last 2year and not having a single problem with this phone ok ...........

This is the most awsome phone i have ever used. Cant find or mention a single defect. I used this for alomost 3 years now and still working perfectly.
Recently i bought a Nokia 5800 Express Music edition. 5800 is a crap when comapring to W700i.
I didnt came across any other phone wit ha sound quality that can be compared to W700. Its PERFECT!
far far better than Nokia 5800.
My w700 has fallen down from rasied floors a couple of times. faced very high shocks many times. But it simply worked after restarting. I will ever love this phone!

It is one of the worst mobile set in the history of sony ericsson mobile phone.It has many problem one of them is joystick.

in this march my dads phone 'll complete 2 years.
there's no problem wid my phone.

It's a nice phone as far as the quality of Picture and sound goes, but it is quite delicate. using W700 since last one year, I was very much satisfaied unless I bought a Nokia 5310, It has music functions with supereb display quality and much more solid build with nice comfortable keys. I love my Nokia 5310..

Hai I am use this phone still one and half year it is very nice and beautiful before i used nokia now i desided if i buy mobile only sony ericsson now i am using W700i this is very simple and executive looking this phone is using very easly our hand phone is very friendly i fall down so many times this phone nothing happen. So i recomened for this phone for you If you buy this phone and use next time you did not others

this is the best phone have ever used, it has fallen several times yet still in tact. the sound output,browser,and even the picture quality is lovely.i recommend this phone to everybody.

Wonderful:)i have used it for more than 3 years and i still love it. it is stronger than stone and more beatiul than charlize throne. it is also better than Amir jafari's cellphone(k850i) and amin jafari's(w960)too. I proved in contest between us.:)
