Good / Handy phone
Pros: Great sound quality.
Good pictures.
Comes with speakers.
Cons: Lack of autofocus.
Video Length.
Memory (256 used to be 512)
I am selling mine for $250, comes with 256 Mb, Charger, Speakers, CD + Manual, 2x Batteries, Another 64 Mb(bonus), Desktop Charger, Clear Case, Screen Protector, A Sony Ericsson W800i cover which i havnt installed yet, And A NEW! Sony Ericsson W700i. Who ever is intersted submit an opinion and i will get back too you ASAP.

Bought the W700i just a week ago, but I've started having a problem since yesterday. The image and video tools refuse to accept that the lens cover is open and keep asking me to "open the lens cover" to shoot.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any solution or do I need to give this for repair?

Just bght this phone yesterday (Singapore). Read most of the gd and bad opinions but I think its a good move from SE. There are a number of prob with SE W800i such as hang, restart, screen blank-out. Made known to me by a friend who was using it for 3 months before he sold it.
The software ver for SE W700i is more stable and reliable than W800i.

The main difference is that it doesn't have autofocus or macro. However, you can substitute it by softfocus - just sharpen a little a photo and its done

OK, I uploaded some pictures made by the camera. In some instances I did not find much difference between 5 mp camera Casio Exilim and the phone camera.

Everything seems to be fine wid d phone, but can anybody please give me a full resolution (2 mp)picture taken from this mobile??....i'm a bit photographic lover, so confused about the quality of this phone.whether to go for K750i or W700i...i liked all the features of W700 but just lack of autofocus made me confused..

Can any body tell me what is the memory support of w700i and anybody has tried 2GB or !gb memory card on it does it shoes any problem on mobile set

hi, i read some of opinions about W700i, but i want to offer u a better Walkman phone: W810i!!! it's wonderful! only problem may u have is the navi/bottons, but u will get use wit this!!!!!! bye!!

Hi All,
I got this ph 1 week back. The major problem which i am facing since the day i got it is with the playing the songs in the walkman.
when i copy the songs in the mp3 folder of the memory stick, and try to run it using walkman's tracks / playlist feature, my ph switches off and restarts. Sometimes it does play songs but most of the time it restarts.
I tried using both 1 gb card as well as the 256 card which comes with the ph. Its giving the same problem... :(
i hope its not an issue with the ph. can anyone please let me know what could be the issue? is it something to do with the firmware update?

You can - just increase the volume and the built-in speaker is OK for most my needs; you can also connect it to almost any home stereo if you want through the set cable. Volume also depends on mp3 itself so some mp3 are very loud, some are not. You can also tune the equalizer so it becomes louder

You have chosen the option of saving your video to phone memory rather than the memory stick.
Go to
1) Video Camera
2) Settings
3) Save to
and choose Memory stick from there (instead of phone memory)!

I've a problem with this stuff,every time I use the recording videos its always stuck if over than 10 second, and I already switch to High quality video its not working either, still hang... I don't know how to work it out... please tell me if you know how to fix it.... thanks a lot guys!!
