Yes, it can read media files but you will have to put them in the correct folders. If you have a memory card, then your mp3's will go in the mp3 folder, pictures in the DCIM folder and so on!

w550 has dual speakers so i guess it's louder than than w700

It can be used here in Brasil, since your carrier is a GSM one. It has the same GSM frequences as the W810. Just buy the simcard.

Hello!
I am a user of this phone and I can assure everyone wanting to buy it/already bought it; that it is the same as w800i/w810i except for:
a) no autofocus
b) comes with a 256mb card
The big price difference is just because of these two factors and believe me, you dont want to pay an extra 50 bucks or so just for autofocus and 256 mb of storage.
I know many people who have bought this phone and they all love it. It supports "ms pro duo" cards upto probably 8gb but I have checked it with a 2 gb card, and it works flawlessly.

Here is the solution to your problem:
1) Open the lens cover
2) Now select video (instead of still picture by pressing your joystick downwards)
3) Now go to settings
4) Go to "shoot mode" and select "High quality video"

No, their is no autofocus in the w700i. And I am not sure what you are referring to as the video resolution!? 2-megapixels maybe!

Yes, you can use the 1gb or 2gb card with w700i. As far as I heard, you can even use the 8gb card on the w700i.

just wanna ask if this fone has an auto focus cam. i was a VEERRRYYYY satisfied k750 user before but switched to samsung. now i wanna buy an SE again. if this fone doesn's have, then i'll buy a w800. tnx
btw i think that these fones are one of the best aside from the k800.
