hi i bought w700 last week...kewl fone....wirth money....i hav a prob..when i connected fone to PC it showin the memory stick has only 235mb size,but its 256mb..wheres the rest space gone?when i was goin to format memory through fone it says i hav to type phone lock code...grhhhhh wats tat? can i format through PC??? plzzz helppp

i have used so far 6680,E398,V3i now goin for w700i, its good with all options that u need, from a cellphn. but the 2mp is not i think as good as N70's 2mp. Can anyone tell more than about this 2mp fact.. thankz

When you start the phone it asks wether you want to start the whole phone or just the walkman, if that option is not present you can silmpy turn it on in Settings/Start-up option.

I saw d reviews & most of dem said dat battery backup is less.den wat is 30 hrs playback wen mobile is off.is it true/how 2 do dat?

Bought da W700i... Ori - Thorus..
RM1100.. but without bluetooth headset.. Am I get cheated? Blur..
I heard some dealer gave rite? I also duno why I bought the one without BT headset 1..
Have compared with W800i, W810i, K750i. K610i... Just
I)W800i - White color .. easier to get dirty... not suit for me. Forget the price edi.
II) W810i - Initially want to get this phone before going.. Just watch physically and hold it in hand.. My brain gave me some signal.."Keypad looks like plastic".. kind of toys stuff.. But price attractive .. only RM1200.
III)K750i -Everythin' is cool especially price (RM850 only...wow.) Just one reason.. too many ppl around using edi.. I want to be special little bit la.
IV)K610i - The design is cool .. cyber feel. Eh.. 3G.. but dunno when I will use it.. the price RM1280.. package set seem like miss out some thing like W700i had. like Memory stick... Out of my budget too.
But the mp3 speaker seem like louder compared with others when I test it.. But still cannot find any reason why I need 3G now...
Reason bought this W700i. The design actually.. I meant the casing.. keypad.. err.. included the color.. acceptable although don't like very very much. Hehe..One more thing.. no patient to wait for new SE phone coming out.. and I think I can't afford for the new phone too.
And I can accept it with no AutoFocus like all the phones above.. Coz I more emphasize on the music.. "W".. Kekeke..

cool phone .You need to convert the video files into 3gp before downloading into the phone .One of the best 3gp converters can be found for free at the following link

Amongst the several links provided ,u might want to go for the first one .It converts dvd ".vob" files too apart from the conventional formats like mpeg,avi etc.

I had this phone for a couple of days now, it works like a beauty, feels firm in hand and easy to type sms, camera cover though looks little fragile because it is a very cool and thin mechanical apperture but for now it works flawlessly. It is easy to start the camera by accident while pulling the phone out of pocket.
Battery life for now looks good, charged only once and it looks like it has several more days left.
I like the idea of pc connectivity as it offers both program interface and also shows as a removable HDD and can be manipulated in each and every way.
Screen is not of finest resolution but it does its job well, very good colors and fast response, there is option to lower the brightness which I like to save battery.
I like the Walkman inside, earphones produce very good sound, I like that one can take pics, go in and out of menus while the music is still on. Highest volume could be little higher, typical for Walkman's...
Camera takes nice pics and fast, with light on extra nice, not as sharp as i.e. K750 but to compensate there is virtually no shutter-lag, i know my friend who's got the K750 and he could wait 5-6sec to take one picture, really frustrating. Picture quality is acceptable.
I use Sandisk 2GB MSPD for extra memory and works just fine, no sign of slowing down the phone.
I bought this phone and not W810 because of its looks, you have to admit, it is a beautiful phone and with right theme it is a pleasure to look at.

My opinion,
- music quality is individual taste,so my advice Manoj,it's better that you prove by yourself which one is goed quality for you.Than you can make your decision.
Nokia 6270 has double speaker so if you listen it without earphone it has louder sound; but louder is not always better.
- I'm not agree if you say that camera better or not only from the resolution screen. You need to see it in the PC or print that, than you can say which one has better quality.
- about battery life,if you see in the links that posted by ISS below; you cannot say that Nokia has always better battery life from SE. That's logisch, in one merk maybe some phones is goed but other model maybe not too goed.
Manoy,please look at K750i, it has similar price but sure you get one from the best 2 Mpx camera with complete ability (flash,autofocus,macromode,panoramic etc).

from my point of view , look at the comparision,
1. MUSIC QUALITY- Nokia 6270 have a good sound quality in both ways means in earphone and 3d surrounded speakers. but they loss the gain becauze we can not reverse and forward the song. instead of that SE w700 has a good sound quality with the control of the song well.
2.VIDEO QUALITY- Nokia 6270 have a very poor video quality as compared to this SE is better in video.
3.SCREEN- I love the nokia 6270 LCD high resolution screen. its240*320 pixels. really its better besides w700 have a low resolution screen.
4. CAMERA- SE w700's camera is not so good as Nokia 6270 becauze of the screen resolution.
5. BATERY LIFE- I can safely say that all nokia phones have a larger battery life than SE phones. its damn true.
CONCLUSION- If u want a gud music phone with low battery life go for w700. and if ue priority is music as well as photography then undoughtedly go for nokia 6270.
