there is a mojor software fault with this phone. i have had three replacements in just over 2 months. its beyond a joke

I was phone browsing the other day and i looked at the W715 dummy i checked it out and then i pretende like i was typing on the keypad to my suprise it almost broke my nail the keys were so hard to press, people who have this phone please tell me if the keypad is hard to press

I've had a W715 for more than two weeks, and I am taking it back today. I do like the phone, but unfortunately there are some serious design flaws I can't get over.
1. The front slider/cover is annoyingly loose. I don't know if any one else find this a problem, but it jiggles incessantly, which makes writing texts or inputing data into the phone really annoying.
2. The headphone jack is on the top right-hand side of the phone, which not only makes writing texts, etc. awkward when the jack is plugged in, but it also makes taking it in and out of your pocket difficult. I have had 2 other SE handsets, both of which had the jack at the bottom of the phone, which seemed more sensible.
3. My final point is actually a software problem. I am always hitting the hotkey connecting me to the internet. This isn't too much of a problem at home, but I can imagine that if I were roaming and unknowingly hit the hot key, I'd have a nice big data roaming charge on my next bill.
Anyway, as a music player, this phone is excellent, the WiFi is really handy, the GPS a nice feature. But still, I can't really recommend the w715.

prince, 06 Jul 2009tis phone or w910 is better?I have both the W715 [work] and the W910i [personal]. the W715 is a much better phone. Easy to use. More responsive key pad. Highly recommend it.

I turned of a-gps, but will it still use internet to connect? And which is the REAL GPS? Is it that Wayfinder Navigator? Can I use it offline?

people, please don't waste time looking for a good phone, this thing is a master piece trust me, it has every thing one needs including a decent image quality(in sufficient light). wiFi works awesome, the gps is perfect, the music player is a marvel!! definitely the best of the best budget phones out in the market!! trust me you'll love it, just buy this thing!!!
