I got it figured out! I can now surf the web on the phone via Bluetooth to PC's internet connection! Yipee!!

i think this one is good enough in its price.. and also w595... same class i think
maybe, if u dont mind about budget.. w980 is better in sound departemt..
my suggestion is, if u already like one fone.. do not see other fones.. thats it.. ull confused a lot..

"It's the best phone in the world.." and some would say.. "It's the worst phone that they ever have.." you'll never see a phone that everybody is giving a positive feedback..

what is the type of headset that included in the package??
is it d headset with rubber ear buds (like hpm 70/77) or a normal one (like hpm 64)??

I hope Sony would make another update to completely getting rid of the lags/hangs and speaker has to be louder when Stereo Widening is turned on.

One more thing:
Sony and GsmArena says this model has 40MB memory.
ATT says 11MB.. I figured att is wrong since the manufacturer stated 40.. well no, att is right, it has only 11MB so if you want a little more you need to buy it.. of course half the ppl buy it from att...
This is a completely different phone to the one Sony made for the World. Here in the US they have a dumbed down version so it won't confuse the highly educated population.

I bought a W760a from AT&T and there is NOTHING IN THE BOX only the phone, battery and a wall charger. NO CARD, NO HEADPHONES, NO DATA CABLE, NO CARD READER! The thieves at at&t took everything out and they are selling separate. $50 for a headphone and a cable..etc. The W810 had everything in the box. Petty thieves! Last time I bought anything from them!
The phone's UI is a mess. They shoved in so much att crap in it you cannot do one click without an att application. They removed every usable software too. Now it has att mall, att navigation, att this and that. If you are considering to buy form att DO NOT. buy online unlocked so you don't have to pay for otherwise free apps for att. I hope I find a way to flush this out with the orig. softwares. if not I'm selling it. On the other hand it's a decent phone. THe only things I'm not fan of are the camera not having auto focus and the green/yellow? line on the back... the black phone should come w/chrome or silver maybe dark blue...

Hi to all. I'm a great fan of d W series. I had a w810i (d best ever!!!) n later in Oct 08 i traded it 4 a w760i n all hell broke loose. I've been facing problem with d connector where v connect charger n headphone since dec. D service centre guys ve replaced d connector 3 times n everytime it works well 4 about 10 days n then starts giving problem n Now i'm waiting 4 d handset to come back 4m sony head office as service center guys ve given it 4 hardware replacement. I'm so frustrated with d service n this fucking cell.
Plzzzzzzzzz can anybody suggest how to deal with this problem n has anyone else faced similar problem with w760i???

Anyone successfully connected to PC's internet using Bluetooth from W760? I'm using WIDCOMM Bluetooth Software 5.1.0.1100, enabled network access and ICS (internet connection sharing). One the phone, enabled local connection. I can connect phone to PC, but can't surf the net.
