The camera isnt very good quality and it dims all the time for nothing, if your considering getting this phone i wouldnt its a waste of money

im not happy with this phone the camera is crap the gps cuts out after 10 mins and the walkman player has faults even the video player isnt up to much ive had problems with other sony handsets im starting to think wether sony are checking there handsets or just throwing them on the lorry looking for fast money

Mark, 12 Nov 2008when i first got this phone, i had problems with the back l... moreyour screen dims because it has an illumination sensor. Basically, if you're in a dark place, the brightness of the screen decreases, which makes perfect sense - why would you need maximum brightness in a pitch dark room? The same goes if you're out in the sun, the brightness increases so the text on the phone's screen could be legible.
Plus, the screen dimming extends the battery life a whole lot ;)

I was trying to use Wayfinder navigatoe, but the program loads for 5% and then it says that the device has not enough memory to run the program? What a hell? What's the problem?

The W595 is newer than this phone. However, they both have 3mp cameras. Both also have stereo speakers. The W760 also has a built in GPS. The keypad of the W760 feels more comfortable than that of the W595. If you want style, get the W595, if you want more variety, get the W760.
