My W760i is the same, but this is normal, read on: Your phone had already reached 100% charge without you actually seeing it. The advance software of the phone auto-shut off charging when 100% (perfect for safety). But while the charger is still connected, it doesn't charge anymore, thus the decreasing figure you've seen especially when bluetooth is "ON". To force the phone to charge again, remove charger connector from the phone and reconnect.

I bought this Cool gadget last week.I found the battery doesn't last for long. Can anyone tell me about this please. When the battery is fully charged do we get any signs or indications on the screen saying that the charging is complete. During the period of charging n when i press the button at the side of the phone it displays the battery life and i found that it has never reached 100%. All i've seen is only 99%.Moreover when i checkd the battery life couple of times at a shorter interval(say 10 mins once), it is in a decreasing trend. Is this the case with W760? Can anyone help me out in this?

can someone please help, does anyone know how to input the '&' character on the w760 when txting? its not available on the '1' keypad when browsing...

OS is proprietary, meaning exclusive to Sony Ericsson, your phone is "like no other". Referring to applications, so long as it is a Java (*.jar) - I have installed several in my W760i.

I have some questions...
Does the w760 use any os? if so..wich one is it?
And...is there any way to play n gage games in the w760?
finally... the applications made for the n95 accelerometer.... can those be used in the w760?

That game and application was already installed on ur phone so they wont be deleted and any progres u had on them wil be reset

heya all
i bought the w760 a couple of days ago, but it has the restarting problem, so i updated it yesterday...
but after updating it... it restarted itselt twice last night :(
anyone had this experience before? if so, could you please tell me how you fixed it?
im thinking of taking it back to the shop and ask them to fix it, but in the meantime, wanna see if i can fix it becos i really wanna use the phone :S

Files on ur MEMORY CARD will not be deleted but the files on ur phone memory will be deleted BACKUP YOUR FILES UP ONTO UR MEMORY CARD then update your phone
note: all ur phone contacts, copy then onto the sim card memory

Ok, bro these are most of the things that the w760 HAS and the w910i does NOT have:
1) GPS RECIEVER
2) MENU ORDER (single icon, rotation order, normal order and flash theme)
3) THE INTERNET BROWSER AUTO-ROTATION
4) FLASH PICTURE AUTO-ROTATION
5) 3.2 MEGAPIXEL CAMERA
6) ADDED OPTIONS IN THE MEDIA PLAYER (games, web feeds)
7) TOM TOM NAVIGATION APPLICATION (wayfinder)
8) INTERNET BROWSER ADDED FEUTURES (e.g. mouse pointer)
9) TRACKER (sports application)
10) W760 MOTION SENSOR VOLUME CONTROL (w760 and the w910i have both got the motion sensor track changer)
11) 2 STEREO SPEAKERS (which makes the w760 louder than the w910i)
12) WALKMAN SIGN THAT LIGHTS UP (at the back... it flashes with the music)
13) ACCURATE WEATHER (application)
14) LOUDER EARPHONE
15) HEADPHONES ARE LOUDER
the w910 does NOT have these things and this is why the w760 is better

jamjali, 25 Dec 2008and one more, i heard w910 got the best speakers. im really... moreWell, bro the w910i hasnt got the best speakers it might be alright quality sound but its pretty low compared to the w760 and the w595. the w595 is almost exact same as w760 but the w595 doesnt have gps... and DOES has 2 loud stereo speakers one at the top and one at bottom (if ur getting a w595 try to get a debranded 1)
so i wud buy a w595 instead of the w910i if i had money i wud buy it... im only 17 lol but according to how much money u can spend get the w595 but if its too pricey then go for the w910i. lol cuz for me the w595 is pretty expensive

and one more, i heard w910 got the best speakers. im really after speakers because earphone wire is annoying sometime.
CNET review rendered w760 as the best mp3 phone compared to other models.

o by the way, as i scout for the phone, i found w910 and w585 side by side display with w760 (the w760 is out of stock). and so i searched for w910 specs. Ill just ask what is the difference of these 2 phones. because i cant wait any longer, i might buy w910 since its almost the same price and specs (w760 got better camera, w910 a little bit pricier).
