Excellent phone. I sent back my Samsung G600 and swapped to this and don't regret it one bit.
Has anyone successfully used an 8gb card with this phone? Do you need you update software?

Update your phone if you have music playback problem. I updated and the sound is really good. The speakers are pretty good. It is loud, but not very very loud.

Hey which phone is better C702 or the W760?
I love both of them very much but obviously I have to pick 1. So I like both of these phones features. I am currently using the W580i (White) and want an upgrade after 10 months of using it. I am a music lover and I am great at taking pictures... Does the W760 have light sensor and auto-rotate? Also does it have a loud stereo speaker or is it C702 louder? Plus, it would be great to have a water/dust proof phone right? This decision is very tough for me.. Somebody please help me out thanks in advance.

Those whose are facing music playback problems .Just upadte the software via Sony ericsson update service ..The stutttering problems stops.

do not get this phone if you want it for music. music gets stuttered if you listen to it through walkman!

Is there ... moreYou can save unlimited msgs on the memory card, but there is a down side. the msgs won't be recognised in any other phone and will be deleted when the phone is updated.
unless you back it up b4 any update.

Where can I get a country or region map to use without the need to use WAP or data packet for this phone?
just a plain map and satelite signal.
I mean apart from google map and wayfinder.

pari, 31 Jul 2008umm...nice to hear abt the game feature........dis phone lo... moreN81 is definitely better if what you are looking for is a smartphone, has better music quality and larger screen, it also has N-Gage and Wi-Fi, but the w760 is more beautiful, has a slightly better camera and keypad and GPS. You decide what you prefer depending on your priorities
