i got this phone for 6 months and i hate it. like what others say it will constantly restart itself. I took it in for repair from my service provider and it came back saying it was a software problem. but within 24 hours of having the phone, the problem occurs again. =( i am really disappointed with SE in making this phone. I had higher expectations.

I have to say i have had this phone for nearly a year now and haven't had any problems with it at all. i love tyhe amount of memory on it and i have numerous albums downloaded. another great job by sony ericsson

well it all depends on what exactly are you interested in getting.
i'd recommend a nokia phone. like seriously! i'm currently using the e71, and so far so good.

I've had this phone for a year and it has gone for good now. It ll started when the charging cable became loose and I had to jiggle it to get it to charge. This past week I can no longer recharge it because it is saying that I need a Sony Ericsson battery (which is what is in there) I took it to the phone repairer and we tried a new battery and charging cable and got the same error. She came to the conclusion that it needs a motherboard replacement. Forget it - I'm going back to Nokia. Yes I also had many freezing problems.

well, if you have a problem to decide wich phone is better...
you should buy W580, it brokes keypad but you can patch, flash and much more...
and for W595 there is no too much patches and you can't modify it like W580 or another DB2020...
about W760, i thought that the calls cut by a hardware problem 'cause my W760 is too heated...
but looks like the problem is ORIGINAL from phone...

this phone i had it almost half year, it came out a lot of problem. sometimes it freeze and turn off itself. sometimes it after cut off call and it turn black completely. and all the time in between phone ring or alarm clock you only can choose one. i try many time the alarm clock not ring and make my job take risk. At the end, I feel really disappoint on this phone. even I have the S500 still better then that.

I have been a Sony user for many years, and i can safely say, DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER purchasing this phone.
within using it, for merely 3 months, it began giving problem. i sent it for warranty claim, and again exactly 3 months later it gave the same problem! seeing as too it was still under warranty i sent it in again. No surprise, about 3 months later i suffered the very same problems.
my main issue was that its charging cable kept getting loose, therefore i couldn't charge or store data into my phone.
apart from that, it constantly restarts itself.
the phone lags all the time, even after i deleted all my songs and pictures. (i've also updated the software)
the alarm chooses to work as it pleases!
the battery doesn't last long.
seriously, I thought this would be a good investment, but I was deeply mistaken!
so believe me, DO NOT GET THIS PHONE!

Anonymous, 04 Sep 2009just wanna ask compare to W595, which speaker is better? ... moreyou should buy w760.coz my sister buy w595 it was realy bad.the arrow keypad was too bad.my sister just by about 2 weeks.the arrow keypad was faulty.it was really 2 bad

i have nearly read all comments about this mobile and found that problems that usually happens is as follows:
1) phone freeze or restart and this can be fixed by software update
2) sound may be not too loud but it is ok
3) the shortcut key sometimes doesn't respond
but other features of this phone is ok
I may buy this mobile this month, can anyone please help me if there are other bad things about this mobile that i don't know about it
known that i live in egypt and this model is not avaialable at the market and consequently there is no after sales service for it.
does that phone have hardware problems

This is a great phone. I own one and the stereo could be a little bit louder but heres my review on it.

Battery: 9/10
Features:9/10
I Recommend It 86 Percent.
There are minor lags and some errors with the ringtone situation but besides that. Great

Hi i have a sony w760 and one day I was adding 2 new songs then when i want to listen to it it wasnt there and all the song were gone now when i want to listen music on my phone i have to use rogers music and i try update the media but it wont work if anyone knows how to fix this problem plz e mail me vincentle94@hotmail.com
