Don't be fooled by Sony, this phone is not anew phone, it's just a Sony Ericsson X8 with different colour and cover with a 'walkman' logo. The specs of these 2 phones are similar, I didn't notice any difference.

as with previous walkman phones, which is a mere walkman-version of an existing SE phone model, this one came out from the X8.. which means, this might be stuck on android 2.1 for eternity.
i just hope this comes with a few hardware upgrades. if not, then we'll just extract the "walkman" part of it and run in on other android device (i myself got an x10 mini pro, also stuck on android 2.1).

Is it just me, or does this look like an X8 in black and red, with "Walkman" branded music player? I can't understand why you would buy this over the X8 when you can simply download a better music player from the Android Marketplace?! What is the unique selling point for this product?
