dIPU, 02 Dec 2011Can i access internet through W8 in my PC.Surely you can. But do not download pdanet from market.Instead use easythether from other sites to access all sites without restrictions. Market have only demo versions of many apps. I access full internet via w8 on my pc.

I am using this phone for the past 3 months. Recently I am facing some issue with the phone. It shuts down every now and then. I was adviced to update the software. Could you please tell me the steps to perform software update ? Also I would like to know whether I need to connect to internet while doing this.

walkman, 02 Dec 2011how to transfer application to micro SD memory from the int... more2.1 Doesn't allow to store apps in SD card, though you can take back ups of apps using tools like Adao File manager. I would recommend don't go for 2.1 at this time.

dIPU, 02 Dec 2011Can i access internet through W8 in my PC.You will have to use a third party s/w for PC and Phone as well, PDANet works all fine, the demo version works for 30 days and then you have to buy iy for $15.95! Now you decide you if want to pay extra for this basic service which should have been included with the phone.

sony ericsson w8 is a very good phone sony shwd launch an official andriod update 2.3 as early as possible...pass to customer care as much as possible
