Zulu, 28 Oct 2011i know LG is not in ur list. but, LG Optimus One is the bes... moreU shouldn't say like that man.LG is one of the worst GSM packets i have ever used.I'm not cornering optimus.But i do not support Lg anytime.U should not complement LG.There are better mobile packets such as sony ericsson, samsung or one which is made for GSM revolution ......(NOKIA).

I was on nokia 5800 before this. So this is my 1st android. after 2 months of modification and usage. i must say this phone is value for money from all aspects (providing you know ho to play with the soft-wares) i'll be switching to SE Live with Walkman soon. its already out for 2 months now, i suggest if you haven't bought this, buy that one. Price difference is very little.
W8 personal review.
Pros
+ Very good sound i.e music player, ringtone etc.
+ small and compact
+ nice Walkman logo, good design
+ value for money (i guess)
+ Android 2.1 (eclair)
+ Nice Walkman player and widget
+ SE PC companion for online update, recovery and repair (very easy and handy to use)
Cons
- Android 2.1 (eclair) no official upgrade from SE. (must use custom rom to upgrade)
- no flash light
- 1 widget per screen, terrible arrange options
- cheap key buttons
- Android's swipe lock screen and swipe to answer really scuks. (personal opinion)
- have to rely on too many 3rd party applications for easy of use and it gets laggy for a 600mhz/168mb ram phone.
Final Advice, W8 good Android phone to try out and to play.. but my advice, go for SE Live with Walkman where it has 1Ghz processor and 512 ram with flash light and better build body and buttons. Not expensive too.

not sure if stock android has the function (forgot). mine is rooted from 2.1 and running on GDX.

Guys dont install applications if ur phone memory is below 30 MB..phones hanging or its getting restarted..superb phone at ENTRY LEVEL..
