THIS PHONE SUX!! Not only is the Texting slow (I thought my Nokia 3230 was slow, but this is SLOWER!!! it takes up to 5 minutes to delete a message!!!), the construction is poor where the keystick has already come off!!! Oh, the phone likes to reboot itself. Not only that, it ask you to reboot the phone every now and then as it is low on memory (I have 500mb free space!!! What do you mean low memory????). Oh the camera locks up all the time and there isn't an option for me to turn the clicking sound off!!! BAD PHONE!!! I'm going back to Nokia!!! Write to me if you wanna find out more!!!

The only video files it reads are *.3gp, but there are conversion tools out there.
The only thing that you can do with avi, mpeg, mov, ra, wmv is send

just brought the W800 a few days ago , and the speakers are loud , a little Louder than the nokia N70 , it's true ! I tested MP3's at 192kbps and 44100Hz on both phones the W800 did much better than the N70

hi,me:
you can charge your phone with da usb cable, but its very slow, you have to wait for hours, there is no damage to your phone. its better to get the charger. there surely is a mistake. All the best and enjoy.

Simple pro/con based on my use
Pro's:
Great digicam
awesome mp3 player
HPM-70 headphones are incredible, rubber attachments fit perfect, comfortable and shuts out all outside noise
fast interface
easy to navigate menu
a real flash light built in
bluetooth 2.0
music dj (think small scale fruity loops) records/plays video (3GP)transcode downloaded videos to 3gp format and you have a mobile video player.
Built in RDS radio
(I'm not just retyping the specs, these are my opinions of the features and how they perform)
Con's - candy bar style not so stylish (phone still looks great)
-If your using all the features (which i have been) battery life is not so great.
-movies don't resume the way mp3's do, can be annoying to FF all the time.
I recommend this phone to anyone and everyone. You will love it.

Its the best phone i've ever had and the most expensive too. It has only 3 features, mp3 player, camera, phone. It excels in all of them. simply the best and the coolest phone. The song quality and the camera quality, hey, its Sony. The only downside is the software support and the user manual, the fewest pages, not user friendly manual. better to transfer the song via memory stick instead of plug in ur phone. Use Mem Stick, then u will have no Prob. and No symbian is another downside.

i am a manager for cingular and unfortunatley i am a huge dork when it comes to phones. i am absoulutley in love with the w800i. i bought a nokia n90 and even though its capabilities in some departments are greater that those of the w800i, it is by far the most entertaining phone that i have. i honestly love this phone, it was worth every penny!!!! if anyone had any complicated questions regarding the use of the phone i may be of some help. loyjargo@yahoo.com

Ok, i have serious problem here. Its regarding trasnfering songs to ur computer. Everytime i transferred songs to my phone, for example 20 songs, its only transferring 2 songs. It did transferred but when i unplug the USB from my computer, there are only 2 songs. Well i didnt use the disc2phone, thats what gsmarena ppl said. So, i figures that my problem could be because not using the software. So i installed disc2phone software and transferred again 20 songs, what happenned is that its only 2 songs that actually transferred 2 my phone. Somebody, please help me!!! this is frustrating!! Thx..
