Hey guys i found another diff btw k750 and w800 the w800 has a built in li ion battery k750 doesnt. And to all the people out there if you like music take w800 not d600 want something that looks like d500. Here in south africa d600 and 500 are common .Cheers

wat up guys im just wondering whether i should get this phone or look elsewhere. i would be mostly using it for the mp3 player and the camera/video recorder.(really think it looks class tho) any suggestions? cheers

does antone know how to change the backlight so it stays on for a bit longer as mine is 10 secs max then goes blank screen, also the text is very short as well as put a song on and its 10 sec of the song and the song is 3 mins long, with me nokia it played the whole song on text till i answered it

WOW what a awesome phone. 1 thing that bothers me is the battery. ive charged it the first time i got my phone, but then after 1 whole night of recharging, the battery still blinks (recharging). My question is when will the battery be fully charged?. This is an answer to one of the questions, you can extend the length of the video recording if you change the video size to 176x144 which is the high quality video, that way you can record videos for more than 30 seconds. hope this helps.

well maybe the bluetooth problem is from the phone itself (hardware problem)... but i will try to update my firmware very soon...

Gripe No 2 ( The 1st was the .3GP extension on video clips..Mediaplayer was perplexed)
Try a rubber joystick next time (like the Nokia 7650) Fingertips don't work, only my fingernail... TOO FINICKY! I slid a plastic sleeve over the joystick to lengthen it by 2mm & now it's a lot better

to JLs it records da video for 10 secs only wen u hav to send it via msg,, oderwise it can record very much more than tht....:-)

TO MARIO! same thing happens to me everytime I try to connect or send a file from my phone to my laptop or desktop via bluetooth; I have to restart the phone by taking the battery out I dont know what's going on, I tryed to upgrade the firmware version but It didnt work, guess because I'm on a dial up.

To Levi, I don't think you can turn the shutter noise off with any Sony Ericsson because it's Japanese. I think some people with phone cameras were secretly taking pictures of people without consent, then it was decided that all Japanese phone cameras will make the noise so that you know a picture is being taken. If I'm wrong someone correct me. And it says a lot that if people want an i-pod with a phone, thething to go for is this and not the Motorola ROKR.

does anybody how long the video can record for??? mine only records for 10 secs... i dont know if thats correct or if you can extend it more. PLS RESPOND!!!

Guys, I don't know what's all the fuss about between Samsung D600 and SE W800. The problems not consists in the phones, like it or not, the problems are the . Everyone of us has it's specific needs, you can't make a Samsung fan to like SE or vice-versa. If you are a music freak of course you want a phone with lots of music functions, but I don't get the ideea of having a 3.5mm jack on a phone, has the world gone mad?? connecting your phone to a home cinema, I mean wtf? connect a cpu to that home cinema, it's better that way in my opinion. But if you are a a guy who conects it's phone to the TV just to get some attention (look at me, I have money, my phone can connect to the TV so I can watch my photos and videos on a gigantic screen), I mean.. what sort of people are these guys. I 'm not a fan of any manufacturer, i'm just telling the truth and what I think. I'm sorry if I offended anyone but i'm pissed of about these guys who practicaly tells someone not to buy the phone that he likes and buy the phone that he says so, because it's better. It's his money, he buys whatever he wants, you can give him some tips, look this phone has that,that and that, the other phone has the other and so one.Let the guy choose for himself, don't force him to buy something he doesn't want because if he doesn't like it he'll curse you till the end of your life :). I know about the feeling, i'm the one dooing the cursing. And finaly, it's no use of comparing 2 phones who aren't released in a period of time of about 1 month. How about if I compare the nokia 3310 with SE w800, it's a shity comparison. or a symbian phone to a regular phone, it has no point what so ever because they're tottaly different phones. Again, I'm sorry if I offended someone in my opinion, but I just have to let this bourdon off my chest :).

i have on my w800 1GB memory stick, and it can support up to 2GB or 4GB i'm not sure, but i think it can support any memory stick PRO Duo (the sky blue one).
