Well, I just the W800 with the K750i housing. I traded my Samsung D500 for W800 and I just have to pay 100 extra since I used the D500 for 1 month. This is a very special W800...the orginal K750i (well my friend flash the K750i so now it's have W800i version in it) so basically it is a W800i with K750 housing....I got that with the SE bt608 came with it...all together I just pay my friend extra 100...so do you think it's worth that much for W800?

Does this phone have monophonic or stereo speakers?
Can you play the stereo speakers as mp3s?

lets put it this way, i love music, i respect sony and my favorite color is orange, so what have i got, of course its SE W800, no more, no less...
ooopps, one more thing, my friend works in a phone shop, SEW800 is sold out but not d600. mobile prices here in u.k. is not a problem therefore i conclude people went to buy w800i not because its cheaper but because its far better than d600. surveys says SE is the winner compared to d600.

No, you can not use cingular with this phone. (well with good service)...This is not QUAD-BAND, like the D600. If you want a great phone with equal features AND MORE..go for the D600, much better phone with better reception in the U.S. and other countries. D600 works in EVERY country in the world except Japan and South Korea(NO GSM). w800 works in about 2/3 of the countries. Hmm

d600 is good but its not a dedicated mp3 player like the w800

TV output is the problem?¿?¿ ok, sony ericsson has an accesory called "bluetooth media center"; with it you can send pictures, mp3 and mpeg and 3gp videos by the bluetooth and then connect the media center to the TV, and now you're watching your multimedia on TV.
what more?? stereo speakers...
stereo speakers are hardware and no software, they don't have anything sense with the mp3 player, and i'm sure they're not enough.
w800 can connect to a stereo, does d600 can??
w800 can connect its mp3 files to any radio, ddoes d600 can??
w800 can support 30 hours playing music, does d600 can??
i don't think so

Well the phone does hang up when sending files by BT. Not sure about the reason though. As far as games, all nokia jar games can also be played on SE W 800. You dont even need an installer. Just send the game jar file to SE via blue tooth. And u can find free games on yahoo groups, simply be a memeber of nokia 6230i on yahoo groups.........Cheers

Hi folks
I am a neutral user and go for the best be it nokia, SE or samsung. I liked W 800 but I think N-70 has surpassed it in looks, image quality, video quality, ease of usage, and definitely price. Though the walkman feature of W 800 is excellent. So to me, in a nutshell, if u can afford N-70 and music is not ur main concern for a phone, go for N-70. Samsung I am afraid has nothing new to offer at this stage. The worst thing about samsung is a lack of CD in its package.

No, you can not listen to loud and clear MP3s on your orange block. You can only listen to them on the monophonic speaker. Hmm,,,

I really dont think its necessary to go on comparing phones! I think the phone is very nice and the orange colour makes it look funky!
Oh btw what happened to the radio in the D600? Thats one reason I didnt buy the phone!
W800i rocks guys and dont let anyone make you think otherwise!

hey guys. im enjoying my phone since one month ago but i have a problem. when im trying to send files via bluetooth my phones hangs up and i need to remove the battery to let it work again. any idea of how to resolve the problem plz? and anyone know if i upgrade the firmware the problem will resolve?

Your phone is orange. The reason its more durable is because it's crap.Its a block that they call a phone.
The D600 is a sleek slider, with TV OUT, stereo speakers, document viewer, bluetooth printing, and more.
I bought mine for $450 including shipping on EBay. Its not any more expensive than the w800.
D600 is better, live with it. Before you post aganist me...wheres your Document Viewer, Stereo speakers, and TV OUT.

w800 is much cheaper than d600. if you live in u.s. you can buy the w800 from buy.com for $429- shipping included!
