Hi all SE lovers, can someone tell me why my memory stick only allows me to put 468mb of stuff on it when it is a 512mb? Could formatting it help? Please help me,any comment welcome.

this phone is so rad! i love it its better then W900 and W550/W600 cuz this is the only phone with no flip and it is so colourful. the functions are cool and they rock including the 2mp camera 1600x1200. cool newayz sik phone

How can Sony possibly think orange won't severely limit the number of buyers, like slashing sales in half or more?? Any word on different color choices in the future? The orange stripe around the outside is bad enough but at least we could pretend that it's a cool bronze type color. What really sucks is the fluorescent orange screen, is there any way to change the background color of the screen without taking it to some expert or paying, or is it always bright orange?
I don't understand how the mp3 player is better than that of the d750i or k750i other than flight mode, so what exactly is the difference? Other than that, just the hpm 70 earphones and 512mb duo pro are the only differences, right? If so, $25 for the earphones and $75 to get a 1gb duo pro may be worth not having that hideous orange color on a phone that should last years, right? Does w800i have the "foreign language translation program" of the d750i, anyone know what that is or how it works?

The Sony W800 is a beautiful hands set that has all the features in one mobile. One of the very good Mobile that i have seen with so many features, good design ...

Hi there, I also am a Nokia fan, but reading about the picture quality difference between N70, N90 and the W800, it made me decide to go with the SE. Also with SE I can use the 2gb memory stick, where with N70 I think is only 512Mb tops? But the most important things to me are the following. Please if anyone can answer these two questions for me...
1. I know that this phone can record a phone call. Can you turn off that anoying beep that ussualy come in every 5 sec or so?
2. Can the carrier logo (Tmobile in my case) be removed?

the video converter u guys are talking is just....
AWESOMEEEEEEEEE! it can convert from .avi to mpeg, to wav.. to mp3 and more more stuff. and thanks for the guy who gave the regsitration. u rock man. more power to u

I just bought the w800i, and it is the best phone you can purchase. There is no trouble (yet) with the charger, i like it better than nokia's because it stays attached to the phone more sturdily. It doesn't take very long to charge ( i do it overnight so im not sure ) but battery is not a problem, at the end of one day I still have half life left. Phenomonal battery, excellent. Earplugs are excellent as well, they are very comfortable, provide great sound. First earbuds I have ever used that did not give me ear pains, the ipod ones are garbage and do not fit your ears' shape, while these adapt to your ear. Excellent phone, highly reccomended.

to wan:
make sure that you have saved the person's photo in the file manager/pictures.
then open file manager/pictures...
select the photo of the person, click MORE, select USE as CONTACT PICTURE.
then each time this person texts or calls you, his photo appears.
