i m waiting for this phone very eagerly...people have said tht this is only a little different then the k750i cell..but now a days i think tht every new cell is only a little different from the next(compare two recent models and then see)...anyway i dont get how people have already voted for its performance without even holding the piece in their hand...

There are so many different release dates on here so unless somebody has some hard evidence about its release e.g. email from sony ericsson etc then i might just believe it. I was told in an email from sony ericsson Q3 so between july and september!!!

SE W-800 ... lot have been said abt the fone in these fourms ... really se had made an mistake to release it so late , nokia N series, is much better.
flaws in se w800
1) small display
2) awful shape and design
this fone is similar to k750 ,the only diffrcs are -
512mb mem card
walkman logo
fligt mode
some keys extra in w800
better headphones
conclusion- seriously these both phones are gud for nothing, se 710 is much better option if u are not much of camera freak

To be honest if you cant wait for this phone the sensible thing to do would be to go for the k750i it has basically the same features and is out now!

for those asking about mp3 ringtones, on the se 710 you can play any regular mp3 song as a ringtone, so it should be the same on this model

not sure if the play while power off feature is the same here as in the se s710. the 710 at least totally dims down the screen into standby mode after a short time, so it is like playing with the phone off. wonder if it is the same feature they are claiming is new to the w800. what does the new 750 do i wonder?

The difference between K750i and W800i is music in off line mode and the memorystick of 512MB.
In sweden you can upgrade your K750i to W800i and later downgrade it back. It is all in the firmware. Cost in sweden , around 20$.
