Hi..... I have this mobile 5 months ago and it is a very good mobile in every thing.
But I have a 2 problems :
1. when I connect W800i to my PC,told me that USB doesn't recognized.
2. when I hear my phone speaker at max level of volume (in Walkman & file manager),I hear some cracks in some mp3-files.
But in the earphone the sound is very clear.
Could anyone help me or tell me if this problem happen to him ?...........

hi anybody having a problem using w800 in canada toronto..i heard from someone sometimes its doesnt recieved some calls is that true...if any1 have this phone canada,toronto..please let me know..if they have any doubt about this phone please and thank you

hi every body
i buy w800 before 4 months its o great phone
every thing is great specially his voice
but i sell it coz there is one problem
and i frightened to get worse
its the joy stick
i sell it before it damage
but then i search to buy another mobile
but i didnt see another mobile great than w800
so who has o problem with the joy stick ???
plz every one whu have a problem with the joystick to tell me what is the problem and i appreciate to him

truely this is one of the best phones by SE.
i love it. got the W810i and this W800i, looks great with a new housing

About the photos or pictures UPLOADED from PC to Phone...
there are lots of compression of pics from net or others...
therefore... you need to set it to the compression that the phone recognizes...
i've verified this...
and the simplest way to do that is...

you need to open Paint... open the file... and Save it again... i used save as... then overwrite... i dunno if pressing Save only will work...
well... another factor to be considered is: ratio of height to width... i have a pic and it is very rectangular... i added white sides using photoshop: canvas size... so i have two files... before the save in paint... i uploaded the two... and none can be zoomed... i saved both in paint... then uploaded... the very rectangular can't be zoomed but i can zoom the one with the white sides...
Well, bout the PANORAMA issue... i guess i will just do the same thing... hmm...

W800 is better than w810. both phone are the same the only difference is the EDGE of w810. w810 has no camera lens cover and do not have an eye-catching design. The design of W800 was alot more better than W810. W800 rulez. =)

hi... would like to ask...
scenario:
i UPLOADED a few PICS FROM PC to phone via usb...
and if i go to file manager and view the pictures... when put in horizontal mode, some of them can be zoomed... that is the magnifying glass shows... while with some pictures i can't zoom , that is the magnifying glass doesn't show and even if i press the +/- nothing happens. Please help me why...
i tried resizing the pics with Photoshop but it's still the same... i browsed the net for it, i've read that it maybe the compression of the photos that i uploaded. how then can i compress the jpg to the right compression?
also...
when i use the PANORAMA, the image resolution varies... and when it does... some pics can be zoomed while some can't just like the pics uploaded from pc...
does the Adobe Photoshop Starter Edition solve this??? or any other software?
you may want to try doing these things :-) upload jpg from pc and panorama

is this phone really quad band? there is 1 person in here say it is from www.sntradersonline.com, but i went there to check and there is a review there say its not quad band, this phone is only triband.

I got my W800i 2months ago.
Its a gr8 phone.
The rubber on my joystick fell off!
Now there's no grip!!!
What can i do?
Has anyone else had this problem?

I have to say that overall this phone is a great unit. I looks great, has a great feel, has a good battary life, and even after one year of owning one people still comment on it!
I do have one complaint though, and this seems to be common with everyone that has had this phone that I know (I count 5 people). The plastic cover on Joystick falls off. This is not that serious but seems to be a defect for the model, as all owners that I have asked have had the same problem.
Other than that, I don't have any negative comments.

this phone is pretty awesome eh. i upgraded from SE z600. but the downside is that the walkman cant play wma files... i have so many songs on that format and cant find a good convereter. if anyone can help me out please email me - rama.lama@gmail.com

ive been switching Cell phones for years and most probably ive made a wise decision in downgrading my phone, ive had nokia fons before (n80,n70,6280 etc.) but this one had made my life easier.. easy keys, music fon, nice cam. n80 sucks, it hangs! good thing the money that i got from downgrading my phone i bought a PSP 1.5 firmware..good job SE w800i!!
