I've been using this phone since January 2006, and im extremely happy with it. Music quality and feature is superb, not to mention other multimedia features(videos, radio,etc). Memory card bundled in the sales packahe was an impressive 512MB and as far as audio and visual quality, it's fantastic.
Would highly recommend anyone who's thinking of purchasing this model.Cheers.

ive recently bought the phone and am very impressed. one of my mates got the w810 on saturday. i find that mine is better and the buttons much more user friendly. The earphones are also great

it's really a fabulous mobile & colour is very attractive, i m sure this would be best modal sony erricsson,i would buy the same.

i have this phone and its decent..hm well i take pictures with it and even tho its clear the camera is slow and so when i move the camera before i capture the picture it gets blurred. and also i was gonna get 810 but it has no lense cover and is more expensive so yea you should get this phone

Hi guys.I put a 2 gb memory card in my w800i but the maximum recommended by sony is 1 gb.Has anybody done this?Did u have problems?

this phone can only play mp4 and 3gp video format.
but the video you record by using this phone is 3gp format.

hia erm this is the ultimate phone this nd the w180 becoz i hav this nd ma m8 has the w180 nd w.e ppl say this is the best phone well one of the best goin coz really it has everythin much betta than a stupid samsung phone i woz gunna get haha im soo glad i got this 1 dnt let ppl put ya ov darlins this phone is mint nd i lurve it nd soo will u so dnt let ppl put ya off! mwah ! honest its gr8 x x xxxxxxxxx

no it does not have optical zoom...its just the autofocus that makes it feel like the lens is movin

hi people, can someone help me with the software version? mine's not the latest version, and i tried to download the software update from SE website. I cant update my phone, even after following the instructions from the website. so can anyone help me with that? and with the new version, what improvements have SE done with the w800i? thanks!

I have this phone, and i agree, with these piece of hardver you have all you need, world in your hand...You can listen music and surf at the same time, make a phone call if u need, watch video, radio, everything. Joystick can cause problems tho, but it works

it is good in all aspects except for poor receiption. if u use as the phone i dont recommend it
