Here arre the estimated price of w850 400-450 Euros, 550-600 USD, a bit to much for me...

pinkgal, w850 is not out yet, but there is already an review about it here http://www.mobile-review.com/review/sonyericsson-w850-en.shtml , the w850 has an awsome WALKMAN player, it comes with an 1gb memory card as well, in the review you can see the pics taken with its 2mp camera without autofocus, and then you can compare the pics with an k750, w800, d750, w900 cam,if i had to choose between the w850 and the w800 i think i would still go for the w800 cause w850 main feature wouldnt work here wich is the 3g tech. but the w850 has a huge screen and the best walkman player, but its photos get a bit blurred cause of the lack of the autofocus, and it going to be a bit expensive here in brazil =(

If i were in your place i would go for the w800, cause im not rich hehe, and got thesame stuff as the w810.
The design is about the people taste, i do like the w800 design cause is a lot different, the w810 design is a bit dull cause its black, but i also llike the w810 design, but i love my orange + white w800 hehe.
The joystick that is crapp is the one in the k750, the w800 one is very firm, i have the phone for 6 months and is still pretty good.
The cam lenses cover is designed y sony producters is like the one they use in sony cameras, i dont think it breakes easy only if you love destroing things.
When you connect the phone to the pc with the usb cable it will appear, some files where you can see the pics, the mp3 and some other stuff, but to transfer songs you should use the disc to phone program that comes in the w800 case.

and which design do you think is better ?
is the joystick crappy and weak and/or will the cam. lense cover get damaged or broken ??
how do u transfer files from/to your computer to the phone
and finally - how do you get to the far manager - is it difficult and complicated

jaoanna, the camera in w810 and w800 are exatly thesame, the sound quality also is exatly thesame, the HPM-70 earphones produce a very high quality sound, you can also use any earphone as you wish cause both of them have 3.5mm jack connecter.
w800 = joystick
w810 = DPAD
w800 = lens cover
w810 = no lens cover
w800 = no edge
w810 = edge
w800 = cheap for one of the best mobiles
w810 = pretty expensive for only an edge tecnology
w800 and w810 supports flash themes, w800 you do that by the FAr manager.

hu has had a w810 b4 n now has this ?
please help us and tell us which set is better? i.e . sound , camera , quality etc etc .
please because it is fairly obvious that the questions between w810i and w800i are mind boggling everybody who wants to know which set is better

Ivan, you can use the camera also, when you turn on the phone, it will ask to turn the phone or turn only the mp3 player, in that screen if you press * + menu button, it will block the keyboard then you gest open the camera chutter and you can take pics without the phone on .

then go for the w810i, if money is not a problem. its your choice. your money your decision. just remember the w810s cam has no shutter.

When you turn it on just in "flight mode" is it just the music player that can be used? Or can you use all non-network dependent feature like camera etc.?

To the videos stay perfect withouth quality drop in full acreen mode you have to converte them to 176*220. i also bought an 2gb memory card my one is an sandisk hultra i think, and its not laggy...

Hello can anybody please help me.I have some questions regarding te W800i that i have-
-1-When i seen videos in full screen mode the video quality drops.So please tell me what is the ideal size(resolution) of videos so that I can convert them into the desired dimensions and can be viewed flawlessly in full screen mode.
-2-Recently i purchased a 2GB Sony Pro-Duo Card.Now that i have filled 1.5GB of it with songs, the phone hangs frequently.What is the solution.
Please help me out.

money is not a option 4 me ! i can afford both and im just trying to see which one i want moree !
