i think you've misunderstood something... what lonestar said is correct that you need to press the button half way and when the focus is set then click it... but what you said about k models... is something else. that is known as image stabiliser... with that you can capture one single frame of a moving object...:)
focussing is a different aspect all together...

Actually, I was confused before, hehe.
I thought that w810 has autofocus similar to the K550, but I was wrong..
You know, most K model can take pictures of the ceiling fan from maximum speed, and the picture doesn’t even budge a bit!!

For d tym it ws working(abt 6 months), it ws ausom.... d "almost perfect fon"
Dis fon ws workin fine...awsum.... but one fine day it suddenly started restarting often without any reason, and everytime I viewed d Calls menu.... N it is not a problem wid d network.....
D fon hs also slowed down a lot..
I don't think I transferred any virus-affected file 2 d fon....
Any1 cum across dis problem??
Guess I'll hv 2 take it 2 d SE Service Centre.

i had this fone for less than a week I charged it and before i went 2 sleep i pulled the charger out, but the next day it just wouldn't turn on no matter what i did
these are the things i tried to get it to work
Take sim card/memory stcik/battery
i put my sim card in another phone it worked
tried putting another sim card in my phone it didn't work, cleaned everything (didn't work)
i have no idea what to do!!!

i have my w810i and am enjoying the features, but the problem is enabling the browsing. anyone with the idea of how to do it. am in kenya and my provider is safaricom

To enable the flash just press the # button while the camera is on. To turn off, press once more.

all u have to do is hold the release button half way. the blinking white dot in the top left corner and the white square in the middle of the screen will turn green.
then press all the way to capture the focused subject

umm..for the flash problem jus pres '*' when using camera..
and when not uing press the shortcut key and go to 'light'..

To activate flash light easily when taking pictures, simply press * on the keypad, its much more convenient

Unfortunately,u cant use 8gb on w810i.it supports max upto 4 gb.

Hi guys,i have had samsung d500 4 more than 1 yr n i loved it.2 days ago i bought SE W810i for Rs.10250.it simply drives me crazy.everything is just great.but lack of camera lens cover can prove to b costly.nonetheless,i recommend it to every1 looking for a gr8 phn wid awesome cam n music quality.

Simply activate the cam n press star (*,the bottom left button).or go to menu shortcut (silver button to the right),go to light n turn it on/off.
