i think u should check the auto off... coz it shuts the phone off automatically for certain time... see whether the auto off is activated or not... if this is the problem so no worries...

only the mmc wsa stolen cuz it was in a CF camp at a resort in Genting Highlands. so if the fella who stole the phone, he would have a hard time hiding it cuz it big n they community had 2 times spotcheck.so i guess he forsee that coming n only took the mmc.btw its not 512mb it was a 1gb.so i guess he took it and wanted 2 use on his own fone.

why there are times my w810i shutsdown automatically? i replaced the battery and still auto shutdown? is there a software/firmware to fix this? email me pls. thanks!

yes, i do have bluetotth module that comes together with my laptop...which i guess has been installed ( all the latest laptops have that particular module i guess).
and u mentioned about the driver, where can i get the driver from? and if i want to do it all over from first step...where can i get the bluetooth module software and teh driver?

well first of all tell me whether your laptop has an integrated bluetooth module or have you plugged an USB bluetooth dungle... in case you have integrated bluetooth then you'll have to install the driver for the bluetooth module... something like the fauxcon bluetooth driver available on lenovo's website... i've installed it on my laptop... once it is done then you'll have to pair your phone to the laptop... henceforth you can use bluetooth connectivity...

pros:
-long live the battery
-ear shattering sound (earphone + mega bass)
-rarely lags... unlike nokia phones sometime lags a lot..
-nice keypads
-excellent camera
-play games + nice graphics
-well organized menu (unlike other phones)
cons:
-speaker quite weak (but when placed on a flat surface it will be much louder or when the speaker is in ur palm)
-no protection for camera lens
whatever it is... i love my phone... its my 1st baby... lol... ;)

u mention that it is easy to steal the memory stick from the phone... but if im the thief i would not be that stupid for not stealing the phone itself... why would i steal the memory stick when i can take both... lol...

ya, same for my w810i phone. the battery can last up to 1 week if i use it less for calling, music, radio, and games. and yes it does recharges a little bit by 1-3% after listeing to music/radio/games.

in that l'm nt sure myself cuz i haven't gotten a w580i.so i can't really help u in that. maybe u can read the w580i opinions and compare with w810i???

advantages of W810i
-superb sound quality
-has flash which brightens up when u take pics
-pictures taken are also gd quality
-easy to play songs+vid
-nice keypad
-cool design
disadvantages of W810i
-transfer rate from comp to handphone is EXTREMELY slow
-takes time to load after things are transfered to the phone via cable
-very laggy after transfer
-slow at saving pics after taking it
-the loudness of the speaker is nt as loud as expected
-slow at loading pictures
-memory card on the outside makes it easier to be stolen(my friend had the same phone n the Memory stick DUO was easily stolen)
Overall i would say W810i is a good phone.*although there r so many disadvantages =.="* but if u ask me, i would say go get it. its worth ur money cuz it ROCKS!!!

I have been using W810i for the past 5 months and it is really awesome. The walkman output quality is superb. The picture quality is fine too. Can anybody clarify whether we can save any pic/sounds with locking facility. Is it possible to have lock on certain files??

is there any downloadable sound equalizer software 4 this my se810i? the mega bass works very good with deep bass sound... but i need other equalizer to enhance or to hear the real sound quality my phone has..

my battery life can last for 1 week with minimal use...(less listen to music n play games)... battery life can even grow by 1-2%.
